Fluidless shock absorber
Arrived in good time. However buyers should be aware that there is no damping of the spring action with this unit. I always understood a "shock absorber" to contain oil to damp the action of the movement. This unit relies on the flexing action of the spring to absorb impact. Construction wise - basic. Finish - ok if a little raw around the edges.

It fits
It fitted like a dream feels good when I sat on the bike the only thing is it had a broken plastic washer but it shouldn't impede the function of the shock. I'm confident it'll be a nice ride when I get bk out on it.

Warnung : Teil eingebaut und bei der Probefahrt bereits zerstört, da die Verstellmutter über das komplette Gewinde verärgert ist. Nicht kaufen, ist lebensgefährlich so etwas im Verkehr zu benutzen! Und das hat das gute alte Steiger Fahrrad nun wirklich nicht verdient. Dann lieber zu Fuß gehen uns ein Originalteil suchen...
