I used to write more reviews than I do now but I have been discouraged by the poor quality of hyped up products and nonsense positive reviews over the last couple of years. It's very hard to know what is real. Of course, if you're like me, you'll even (and understandably so) question this review. I get it. All I can say is that I am beyond impressed with the quality of these drapes and at this incredibly good price but not because of the price. In other words, they're not good "for the price". They're just excellent period. As an example, I just bought a sheet set for a lot of money hoping that if I dished out the higher price, the quality would be better. No. They looked like they were sewn in 2 minutes in a sweat shop -- thin, thread raveling, cheap. ARGH. I digress. These will restore your faith in humanity and the ability for our species to still manufacture excellent quality goods.Firstly, they have a good amount of weight - just the right amount. The wrinkles from shipping come right out. I threw mine in the dryer for a short time but I don't think I really needed to. Just hanging them is good enough. They feel luxurious. I bought the mustard color which looks stunning in the warm light of the bedroom -- something I can't capture in the photos. The color is just beautiful and vibrant while still be classy and neutral. They're well made. I used rings and hooks for mine because I wanted them to slide easily. You don't have to. In terms of the claim to be close to, if not, 100% blackout curtains. Well, the mustard color is not 100% blackout but the amount it blocks is good enough for our bedroom to allow us to keep sleeping without the morning sun waking us. They still make the room considerably dark. I also think that if I had more room above our window and could have hung them high enough not to allow the light to come through the space that you see in the photos, that it's possible that I would consider them to be blackout drapes. Even that amount of light coming through isn't making the bedroom too light. I hope this helps. I highly recommend these drapes. I truly believe that you'll be as happy as I am. They're so worth it.

Love, the look, quality and the color. Great for changing colors for fall love so much, brought more colors for Christmas, summer and spring. There not lightweight at all, and good sun blocker, without fading.

These are very soft velvet that have a luxurious boho look. It is hard to find this mossy green color, and these curtains are the perfect shade with my room. They block light very well, better than I thought they would.The only complaint is their hens are very skimpy. I like a deep hem, but this is maybe half an inch or so. They’re hung where this is concealed by furniture, but if they weren’t, I wouldn’t like them as much.

These are beautiful curtains for the price! The material is so luxurious and the color is vibrant. They really do keep quite a bit of light out, even in full sun. I'll most likely purchase these for a different room in my house.

These curtains are great, and they look way more expensive than they are. They are not 100% blackout, probably more like 95%. They block out a lot of heat, which is the reason I bought them. Would definitely recommend! I have had two sets of these for a year, and I’m about to buy more for a new house.They definitely need to be steamed after hanging up. The velvet material shows wrinkles pretty badly, but I haven’t had to do anything else to them after hanging them up!

The fabric of these Miulee Velvet Blackout curtains is substantial and luxurious, with rich colour and sheen. They feel beautiful to the touch. I ordered the Peacock Blue colour, gave the curtains a quick cool rinse in the wash and an extra-low tumble dry to release any wrinkles from packaging; they came out beautifully and hang straight. So glad I chose the Velvet Curtains from Miulee! I have already ordered more.

Would have been 5 star but the color was way off what I expected. I was expecting slight variation but these light olive were more like Caledon green.I wanted to return, but then I noticed they went well with diningroom rug, so we kept them.I will say these are well made, quality drapes.The fabric is soft and lush.I am hesitant ordering another color only because of how far off these were from what I was expecting.

for the price of this, these curtains are insane. velvet and soft and heavy. look amazing in my living room.
