Big improvement over the Suntour XCM that was on my trek x caliber
I really was happy with the finish of the fork ,the low price and the improvement in ride. I am a fit 60 year old that likes to ride bumpy fire roads and some single-track and this fork suits me pretty well. I wanted something to better what I had but really didn't want to spend 300.00 for a fork. I was leaning toward the Roxshox Recon when I discovered the Markor and I am happy that I bought the Manitou. We will see how it does over time. If I was jumping or really riding hard I would go higher end but this seems to be a great fork for a recreational cross country rider. Thumbs up!

It’s light and works great !
I upgraded my daughters bike with this fork . Previously, she had a Suntour coil fork the felt like a pogo stick, and weighed in at a hefty 7 pounds. This Manitou fork is half that weight, and it silky smooth. To say it will change the ride of your entry level mountain bike would be a huge understatement.

Very nice entry level Air Fork.
Very nice “lightweight” fork, I chose this over the RS recon air mainly cause it is lighter. I paired it to a DB Recoil Comp 29er which is light years ahead of the pogo stick Suntour XCR that came on it. I also like the fact that they give you the more subtle decals to go over the normal ones. I have hit some substantial drops and jumps on the fork and it hasn’t missed a beat. Extremely satisfied for the price.

Best upgrade to a budget MTB yet!
I have a 2014 Specialized Rockhopper with the suntour forks. I have wanted to change them out for a while but never got around to it....I wish I had done it sooner!Just buy them...they are amazing, lighter than my old forks, more adjustment than my old forks, and most importantly ride amazingly...I just wish they came in white... lol

Nice, light, work well
These seem great so far. I'm a big heavy guy; pumped em up firm and they ride nice on our bumpy city streets. They seem pretty light, too, actually. I was impressed when I picked them up out of the box.

Great performance at a great price
Talk about an upgrade! I know the stock shock was not great but I didn’t realize how poor it was until I got this. And the price!! Try to find this performance for this price point. With up to 120mm of travel (search the web for the how to video) this more than improved my trail rides.

I really like this fork but it's $100 more expensive than on par rockshox
I really have a hard time with this because I really like this fork. It is quite unique and not everyone is using it. But I guess that's because I can get a rockshox Judy and save $100. While the performance between the two are very similar. If the two were the same price I would go for this one though.

Great value
Compared to the lower-end SR Suntour coil forks that come on so many bikes, this fork offers an amazing value. Half the weight, better compression and rebound damping. Easily adapted to my Diamondback Overdrive. Amazed at the ride quality. Would definitely buy again.
