We have a 12 pound dog (Pomeranian/Maltese Poodle) who loves to bark relentlessly at anything that moves. After doing everything else we could think of to nip this annoyance, we decided that a bark collar would be a great solution to constantly getting after her while she was ignoring us until she decided she was done barking.Per the instructions, the dog should wear the collar for up to 48 hours prior to using it for bark training; we felt that our dog got used to it almost immediately and it didn't seem to bother her at all. I wouldn't recommend this collar for anything smaller than 12 pounds - we had to tighten the collar all the way and it fits perfectly. There is nothing to hold the remaining piece of collar in place and, since we tightened it all the way, it was extremely long so we cut it shorter and burned the edges to keep it from fraying.Once we turned it on, we quickly learned that the bark collar cannot be used with her regular collar with her tags because every time she would move, the tinkling tags would set off the beeping so we only use the bark collar with the tags removed (in the house only); the instructions also stated that we may need to shave a portion under her neck so the prongs could come in contact with skin, but we just pushed her fur aside and it works perfectly fine.We love that this bark collar has a beeping and vibrating function instead of shocking her every time she barks. As she continues to bark, the beeping gets a little louder, lasts a little longer, and eventually starts to vibrate to compliment the beeping. The first time we used it, she saw another dog walking on the street and started a low growl, once she barked and the collar beeped at her, she looked at me confused but immediately understood that she shouldn't be barking and started "whisper barking" which didn't set off the collar (the low growling didn't set it off either).The more she wears it, the better she is responding to it and we hope that it will help her learn to 'keep her voice down' so she doesn't wake our sleeping children at the other end of the house. We love this bark collar and recommend it to everyone!

Really didn’t think this was working because dog was acting like he didn’t even notice when it was activated & vibrating. But he has totally stopped barking even when I take the collar off. This is a dog that NOTHING works on & is a crazy neverending no matter what barker, so this is a big deal! He also has a breed disposition toward tracheal collapse & has shown signs of that beginning; so I absolutely would not use anything w/ prongs or tightness on his neck! I won’t use shock collars on any dog either. The 1st thing I did when receiving this collar was to try it across my fingers. It was gentle & more of a strong vibration noise w/ what I considered to be a very weak vibration feel. I also found that the little nubs that were supposed to be rounded prongs against the dog’s neck were so small that they couldn’t poke or scrape & in this case not even be felt thru the hair. So the nubby pseudo-prongs wouldn’t hurt my dog’s throat or contribute to speeding up the tracheal collapse syndrome. Neither would the vibration. And as I said, he didn’t even act like he noticed the vibrations at all. So I’m convinced it isn’t harmful to him at all. He “like’s” me putting it on him & seems to think it makes him special to have a new collar. So I was really convinced it wasn’t working. I don’t even put it on him snug, but loosely so that the box ends up on the side of his neck instead of center front when he runs around. But despite all this, it worked w/o me even knowing it! I just began to realize he was no longer a barker! And it makes me extremely happy that he was never afraid or felt punished or was harmed in any way! This collar works & is great for little dogs who are prone to developing life threatening tracheal collapse! Best no bark collar on the market if you ask me! If you are considering shock collars or even non-shock collars w/ prongs, please look up & be aware of tracheal collapse & other throat conditions so you’ll know if you don’t already know about them, & be careful what you use on your pet. This is a very safe one (but not put on too tight)!

This collar actually worked the first time we tried it... We didn't want to have a shocking collar, so this was a nice alternative... There is no remote to control it... It works independently. We charged it up for 24 hours then put it on our Westie puppy for one day to let her get used to wearing a collar, then after 24 hours of wearing the collar, we turned it on... Our puppy is only 4 months old and barks all the time...The first time our puppy barked, the first level buzz engaged causing our puppy to look over her shoulder to see where the close proximity sound was coming from... barking stopped while investigating... moments later she barked again with a similar result... she stopped barking immediately and didn't engage in a chain of barking as before.... As time went on, she occasionally would bark a few times within 40 seconds (sensory timer) and the audio buzz would increase in duration a little bit... to maybe 10 seconds.The bottom line is that this collar worked as advertised on our Westie pup.... not sure if it will work the same with all dogs, but I give it an A+ for eliminating our barking problem.

Did not work at all. Charged it for a full 24 hours, followed the directions, green light was on but it would beep and not affect my dog at all.

I have 2 miniature schnauzers & the collars definitely did NOT work, sad too because I was really hoping they would.

If I could give this product no stars I would. It says it’s for small dogs and it does not fit my dog at all and doesn’t work.

Stopped working after about a month. It was great in the beginning but not work the price for a month of use!

I’m happy that this isn’t a shock collar and more like a vibration but before the vibration it gives a beep warning a few times
