Excellent Craftsmanship
Practical and useful, especially when all your other tools are back at home. It won't get every job done but for its convenience and size this is more than adequate for most tasks. This multi-tool is strong and the craftmanship is amazing. I have spent a few hours just admiring how every piece was put together and I constantly show my friends how it works. The knives, file, and saw are easily accessible from the outside and all have a safe liner lock. The tool also has a safety lock that prevents the knives from opening up when the tool is in pliers open position. Now that is a smart design! It's now Jan 12, 2018. I have owned this tool for quite some time now and have gifted one to my dad and to my wife. It still works as good as new so I'm editing my post to bump it's rating up to 5 stars from 4 stars because it's worth every cent. It was an investment for me to purchase at first and it certainly paid off.

Darwinian multitool
I've had several of these. Unfortunately they seem to all have a metamorphic stage where they begin to be hard to find, then the damn things grow legs and walk away and are never seen again, possibly growing up to be heavy construction equipment and settling down with a DeWalt drill, raising a family of varied attachments and new Waves. This model seems to have a bit of a stick in the plier mechanisms. My old Wave, as well as my SOG multitool, after proper lubrication and working of the mechanism, were fluid and easy enough that I could flip them around and confuse people into thinking that I carried a butterfly knife instead of a multitool. The pliers would open in a flash with a quick flick of the wrist, very useful. This new model... Not so much. I'm going to assume this is the byproduct of an evolve wandering Wave and a hammer drill, because this little s*** seems to expect abuse and require force rather than acting naturally.Still good, though.

Everything but Leatherman Wave Sheath is good!
A great product over all (bought it to replace my original Leatherman Wave which is being fixed right now).Bits are easy to insert into slot, however if you order bit extender (sold separately) they will be difficult to pull out of there without assistance of your Leatherman.Con: Leatherman Wave Sheath DOES NOT hold any of the 40 piece bit kit sets. Recommended to buy Leatherman Surge II Sheath instead (which can fit both kit bit sets, Leatherman & Bit Extender snugly).

Nothing Like a Leatherman
This is my first Leatherman, my dad has had his for well over 20 years and still holds up just fine. This thing has quality written all over it. I used to have a pretty heavy duty swiss army knife that was my go to multi tool, but I went to a Royals game and it was confiscated sadly. So I finally decided I needed something again, and am I glad I bought this tough guy. I've already put some use on it, and it is all I could ask for. I look for years of use with this multi tool. It is simply the best

Finally, I can get another Wave
I lost my Leatherman Ti Charge and decided to go back to the Wave. Can't beat a Leatherman, and the Wave (IMO) tops them for all for general use -- smooth handles and smooth action on the foldout tools. While a little stiff now (b/c it's new), I assume it will loosen up perfectly like the previous ones did.The included leather sheath is rather tight initially, but starting to stretch appropriately. Compared to the woven/velcro sheath, it's more sleek and slim, but doesn't carry the extra bits.FWIW, It seems like the bottle/can opener has been recently(?) redesigned and improve, making it function more easily.

This tool is awesome. I use this tool at least 4-5 times a day. It is super compact and has a ton of features. The belt sheath takes a little while to wear in, but it is comfortable after two months. The only real issue I had with this Leatherman was that some of the tools were tough to get out, impossible if wearing gloves, it eventually got easier, but it was a pain for a few weeks. Not really that big of a deal. The knives are awesome and still sharp after two months.

Already the second one
Unfortunately I forgot my first one in my carry-on. TSA wasn't very amused and I had to get rid off it right at the security check. While waiting at the gate I ordered right away a new one as the old Leatherman served me always well.
