NOT SAFE for baby or child room :(
These shelves are not sturdy at all. The slightest touch cases them to fall off the wall. Total hazard for a small child's room. If a child tries to get something off the shelves, they fall. Something as simple as closing the door on the opposite wall can cause them to fall right off the wall! Unfortunately, I'm way passed the return window.

Great purchase
Easy to put together and to hang. I painted to match my nursery furniture. Love it. Have more books than shelves, but that’s a good problem to have.
