From Not Happy to Very Happy!
My initial review was rated as one star due to the fact that the package was not complete (power plug ect.). I have since reordered this soundbar which did come with all items advertised in this package. Once I connected the soundbar to my 4K 55" TV I tested the sound while watching Star Wars Return Of The Jedi and The Force Awakens. This unit set the bar for soundbars with its built in sub and crystal clear reproduction. I chose these movies because of the extremes in sounds and subtle digital nuances and the soundbar passed with flying colors. I have since changed my initial rating from one star to 4and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a soundbar for a large TV with a built in sub.*** Initial Review: 1 StarI only received the soundbar, the remote control and user guide instructions. No power chord, wall mounts or other essential items shown in the product images and disruption were not provided.

Update: initially I gave it three stars for yhe reasons below. I am changing to one star now: the fact that the bar shuts off when it does not hear a sound for a few minutes creates TERRIBLE user experience. You will be getting up and down to turn it on all the time! Remote is useless since all the indicators are on top. I am getting ready to write off the 120 bucks I paid for it and throw it out. Plenty of much better choices in thd same price range. It is just OK. The sound quality is slightly better than the quality I was getting out of my TV. The device is not at thin as I was hoping. So for those of you who are looking for a soundbar to put under your TV you should check dimensions. The installation of this product was a real pain. The product guide included in this package is next to useless. My HDMI ARC simply did not work and I had to watch youtube videos and read through comments on Amzon to see if anyone else had the same issue. I finally was able to use Optical cable to get it working. Last but not least: the device has a very annoying feature of turning itself off after 15 minutes of inactivity. If you are like me and like to put programs that you are watching on pause to do something else and then resume it, you will be very unpleasantly surprised that the sound is off and you have to turn the bar on again. I can see the benefit of having this as an option but not as a built in part of the product. So all in its OK for the money. Would I buy it again knowing what I know? Probably not.

Great Value (quality audio with HDMI ARC)
I recently purchased a Sony XBR55X900E (55" 4K TV) and wanted to improve the sound of the TV by using a soundbar. I selected the RSR TB355 soundbar. My primary motivation to select this unit was its HDMI ARC connection to the TV. Connecting it to a TV that that also has an HDMI ARC port, is straight forward ... connect an HDMI cable (I used the cable supplied with the RSR soundbar. However, figuring out how to setup the TV to accept the soundbar took about an hour. This is not an issue with the RSR soundbar ... this is an issue with the documentation (lack there of) provided by Sony. The community (Youtube and internet in general) provided enough hints as to which TV settings to change. Anyway, got off track, the RSR soundbar produces great audio (for my needs) ... good volume range, good bass, good integration with the TV (single remote control the TV and the volume ... this is the benefit of HDMI ARC). The soundbar is a quality device with a GREAT price, that includes ARC.

Works well and good price
I purchased the soundbar because it had the HDMI connection. I now use the optical connection on my TV for a hearing streamer. I had a problem at first due to a setting in my TV which allows audio through the HDMI connection. I called the TV mfg. and they told me how to activate the setting and all is working fine. This was the best price sound bar I was able to find for a 2.1 channel sound bar. The delivery was good. I would have given 5 stars but I want to see how it does in the months to come

I was looking for better speakers to add to my Vizio TV without having to deal with extra remotes and an extra subwoofer on the side. The TB355 was the most affordable soundbar with a built-in subwoofer, and has HDMI ARC/CEC functionality that I could find.My living room is not all that big (around 20’ x 25’) but this soundbar has enough juice to get the job done. Some people might prefer more bass, as this built-in subwoofer is not going to be as good as an external subwoofer, but I’m happy with the bass output, I hear plenty of booms when watching movies on this thing. The HDMI CEC function is working fine so far. The sound bar does lag behind the TV by a couple seconds when turning on the TV, but I’m totally fine with that.Overall I’m happy with this purchase, the sound is much better than any built-in speakers in Vizio TVs.

great speaker for the price - nice bass
RSR sound bar is very easy to set up and is delivered with both HDMI and digital optical cables - I used optical output for my TV. I'm using with a new LG UHD 55" TV in a fairly large room with 12 foot ceilings. The bass is very nice on RSR and fills the room. I'm only using for the TV - not for music - but watched a Tom Petty concert over the weekend and was very happy with the sound. This is a great speaker for the price - would buy it again.

Excellent Quality Audio Component.
The RSR TB355 Soundbar is very well designed and syncs with your HDTV right out of the box. My HDTV automatically detected and connected (you may have to enable ARC external in the audio settings of your HDTV). Plug in the provided HDMI cable into the HDMI IN ARC port on your HDTV, then plug in the AC cord - Voila! That's it, you now have excellent spectrum of sound coming out of the RSR Soundbar. There are 3 different EQ settings to select, to further fine tune the RSR Soundbar use your HDTV remote to access your television's audio/equalizer to customize your settings. The RSR Soundbar sonically kicks a$$ when properly setup. I have great appreciation for the amount of engineering that went into achieving this excellent quality soundbar which is very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a well-made soundbar with HDMI ARC connectivity - the RSR TB355 Soundbar absolutely Rocks!
