Our Story, For My Son: Memory Journal Through Childhood for the First 18 Years Together

absolutely love this book, and I enjoy writing in it every year and cannot wait to give it my son when he is older. hopefully he will enjoy reading through it to see what he was like as a baby and a young boy. and I am hoping he won't be embarrassed by it and will hold it dear to him as he gets older and keeps it for sentimental reasons. I love the fact that you can put everything in it from what they did and said that year, to where they have been and what they have got up to. along with putting your hopes in for the future and what you plan to do in the next year. You can also put in about things that happened around the world in that year to, so they can see what it was like when he was younger. I especially liked writing about the eclipse earlier this because of how it excited he was about seeing it

I bought this as a gift for a friend's new baby. I already had the 'Christmas Past - Christmas Present' from the same series of journals and loved it; there are lots more types of journals like this on their website and on Amazon. This book is really lovely, and I will buy one for myself as it is my son's first birthday next month so I want to chronicle the adventures so far.

Product review: This Diary is fantastic & the idea behind it is also great (to keep a record of your own feelings/experience about each year of your child's life from the 1st year to their 18th year and then give it as a present to them). I got one for myself & one for my husband (for father's day) to hold our own memories of our son as he grows. I love the details on the pages, there are these two blue birds, the motherbird and the baby bird (her son) who as the years go by he grows from a wee bird into a proper sized bird. So so cute!! 2. Amazon's delivery experience: Unfortunately in this occasion I thought the experience was appalling. It was delivered by the i-parcel courrier, it arrived one month later (obviously I missed father's day) and not even to my door. I had to go to the National Post Office of my country to collect it myself. I only wonder why the Royal Mail was not used. It is usually much much quicker... I have to say I still don't get it... why use a courrier company if the customer has to go and collect it for themseles in the post office?? while I was waiting for the parcel, I contacted the i-parcel courrier and they were extremely vague about the delivery time... If I had the choice I wouldn't recommend them!

This is a great little journal style hardback book. It has prompts such as where you lived and who with each year and what your best memories where. This would be an ideal gift to give to new parents who can log stories then give to their child on their 16th/18th birthday or earlier if you plan to give on completion. It’s a great way for a child to have a keepsake if their parents in future years. The journal isn’t tying to logging something everyday you can just summarise the year as you go or wait for the 12 months then write your thoughts.

This was bought as a gift for my grandson's christening. Its beautifully illustrated and a lovely keepsake to be given to him on his 18th birthday. My daughter and son in law were delighted with it.

I got this diary as a gift for my first son’s baby shower. I liked it so much I bought another 2 years later for my second child. It’s put together lovely. So simple and manageable to keep up to date. I tend to update it around their birthdays and often find myself typing notes in my phone from key moments to add in here at a later date. I love looking back at previous entries when I update.

A lovely, good quality book which prompts you to remember the past year when filling it out. Lots of space to write & record milestones over the first 18 years of your child's life. Beautiful illustrations & quotes throughout. Thick pages so ink would leak through & places to add photographs if you wanted. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this for a friends little boy as a christening gift and I'm so pleased I did, it's lovely! It has just enough to space to write the things you want without feeling like you need a good few hours before you can sit down to do it. It also has some really lovely quotes inside. Honestly, it's fab.

I have one for each my son and daughter as well as a belly to Birthday for each as well. Great journal to pass on to them when the time comes. I buy these for friends and family. Highly recommend. Will not disappoint.

BEAUTIFUL GIFT

I thought I would love all the pages and keeping track of every big moment, but this book became a little much. By the time I added pictures, it wouldn't close all the way because it was so thick! I do like how much detail is in the book, all the small things you don't ever want to forget.
