SnickersProtein 18 Bars

I've eaten many protein bars post workout as a quick protein hit and I've never tasted one as nice as this. I'm a big Snickers fan so was hoping this would be similar to a Snickers bar and I wasn't disappointed, it'll take a lot to move me off this bar now!The fact it tastes like a Snickers and has 18g Protein and less than 200 calories will make this my new Protein Bar of choice

Good macros and tastes just like a chocolate bar. Exactly what I've been looking for. Hitting a sweet craving and getting some protein in at the same time without the usual bone dry taste you get from other bars.

I didn't like the first one I ate; it had a strange flavour. A few weeks later, I tried another and it was much nicer. The taste isn't as sharp as regular snickers (my favourite choco bar) but after eating a few bars, I will say I like them. They're not as nutty as I'd hoped though.There are two (big) issues:- The only protein it has is collagen. This protein is difficult for the human body to break down. Most of it probably won't be absorbed.- Fairly high energy content for a protein bar. You eat protein bars when working out or when you want to lose fat but this bar won't really help.It is the best tasting protein bar I've eaten but honestly, it's best to find an alternative protein snack. It has half the energy content of the regular snickers bar but even then it's simply too much. I don't regret buying this one box but will not be buying another one.

From a Weight Watchers perspective, these are AMAZING! The additional protein means that from a 'points' point of view, they are low (6 Smart Points, WW fans) and yet pack a serious satisfaction punch (admittedly because they also contain a generous quantity of sugar - ooopsy!). They are slightly grainy in texture, which might put some off, but it wasn't an issue for me...which is why I bought 18 bars!!!If they were cheaper, I would have given them 5 out of 5, but in short, if you like sugar, and you like Snickers, chances are, these will make you happy whilst still keeping up the illusion of being health conscious ;)

They are not as bad as one of the other reviewers implied, but they are also not good enough to justify the relatively low protein content and high sugar. Basically, they taste no better than most protein bars. They're just as dense, taste as little of chocolate as most. I bought these because I hoped maybe the extra sugar etc. would mean they tasted better (with a faint hope that maybe, just maybe, they'd taste a bit like Snickers), but they don't.They're certainly lower sugar and much higher protein than a regular Snickers bar, but they also taste nothing like one.Bizarrely enough, one of the potentially redeeming factors - the peanuts - are on top of the bar rather than mixed into the contents like in a real Snickers bar. If they'd been inside, just maybe they might have contributed to soften/break up the overly dense, sawdust like texture (this is nothing special for these bars, but again: nothing better either).Taste wise, I'd probably have given them a 3 or even 4 if it wasn't for the disappointment the name gave me, and that if I'm not going to get something decent tasting I might as well pick a lower sugar option. Not going to be ordering it again.The summary: Cynical attempt to leverage the Snickers brand to make us think the bars would taste nice. They don't. They better hope people don't start associating this taste with the Snickers name.

I have never used a protein bar before so had no expectations, just thought that it would be nice if it tasted like Snikers and it does. Obviously the protein flavour and texture is there but the flavour is nice and no guilty feelings arise after eating one bar.

Be aware that they are not identical to a snickers bar with an injection of protein. It contains the nuts and caramel. It the base is a bit dryer and more chewy as it contains the 18g of protein.By far the nicest protein bar around but for those unfamiliar with protein bar tastes/textures....be aware you will need a pint of water with it. Great product for gym goers looking to bulk on muscle

I liked it however you still feel the texture of the protien which is very dry

These are fantastic. They are slightly high in carbs but I can have 1 per week without feeling guilty
