This ribbon is absolutely gorgeous. It has the perfect amount of sparkle and sheerness. Great quality and value for the money.

I use wire-edged ribbon almost exclusively when I am wrapping packages, because it survives being on the bottom of a pile or being transported to friends and family, and then it is easy to reshape back into an impressive bow. But craft store ribbon often comes on small rolls, and one good-sized package uses up a whole roll. With this ribbon (150 feet) you won’t have a shortage anytime soon. It comes tightly wound (not on a spool, which would just take up more space) and pinned in place (easy to keep the end from unwinding!).This ribbon (I ordered the silver) is lightweight and very sheer. It cuts easily and cleanly (even with my currently dull scissors) and the bows hold their shape well. I subjected it to repeated untying and retying — another reason I use fabric and not plastic ribbon/bows is that it can be salvaged and reused many times, which is kinder to the environment — and even after a half dozen passes the wires straightened out smoothly from the curves and kinks. The end of the ribbon frayed only slightly, though when I subjected it to direct abuse it unsurprisingly unraveled more. The glitter of the snowflakes did not hold up as well as the wire and fabric, raining down every time I untied it, but even after multiple uses the snowflakes were still recognizable. The silver color is also highly practical; it goes with many different papers, and there’s no risk of the in-life color being much different from the picture (I didn’t trust the red, as reds are hard to match, and the gold looks a little too yellow for my taste, but maybe it’s better in life?). As giftwrap ribbons go, this is a good choice.

This is pretty ribbon that would be suitable for the entire winter season. I got it to use on wreaths I make that hang outdoors until spring, so I always search for something that I works for the holidays and beyond. This ribbon is perfect in that respect. It does have wire on the sides so it's easy to make into bows and to form them to stay in place, although it's a bit lighter wire than I'm used to working with. There's enough on the spool that you could even use it as tree garland if you wanted to and it will make a good number of bows. It doesn't come on a spool like most ribbon, so the center is wound pretty tightly and that might make it a bit harder to work with when you're getting toward the end of the roll. It's also very lightweight/delicate feeling, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to work with or how durable it will be. I normally buy this type of ribbon from Costco, so I'm used to a higher quality wired ribbon than this appears to be, which is why I can't rate it five stars. It's nice ribbon for what it is, but I don't think it will be durable for long-term outdoor use which is what I intended to use it for, but it will still make lovely bows for gifts or indoor wreaths.

As an amateur crafter, one thing that I'm always frustrated by is that there is NEVER enough ribbon on the roll.I got this ribbon, as well as a gold roll, to decorate a tree with for a friend who hired me to do so, due to her limited aesthetic experience.There was enough ribbon.This ribbon is high quality. For whatever your project is, this is your stuff, I'm sure of it. It's wired, so it will hold its shape. The color is gorgeous. The glitter doesn't fall off or rub off. I saw some other reviewers say that the wire was flimsy compared to some that they were used to working with - I did not feel that this was the case. But I may not be working with the same type of ribbon they do, so who can say.I used this as tree garland, that went from top to bottom in my case. Towards the end of the roll, where it was wound a little tighter, it was a little more difficult to get it straightened out and look right. I used that at the back of the tree.I did end up using the whole roll for one 7.5 foot tree. But I also could have stopped about 3/4 of the way through. I like to be a bit extra, so I overkilled it.

I love this ribbon. I have a 7.5 foot tree and this ribbon had plenty to spare after using it. It adds just enough subtle texture to my tree to make an elegant look complete. The ribbon wire bends easily and isn't too stiff. When making adjustments to the ribbon it does not kink like others I've used, making your mistakes very correctable. I've used other ribbon that no matter how hard you try to get its shape back the wire kind of stays bent awkwardly and does not ever go back to looking as smooth. The ribbon is also easy to cut. It is full of glitter so beware if you don't like that. It doesn't bother me for a tree and adds a nice sparkle with the lights behind it as it is sheer. Great product lots of ribbon and fit my design needs.

I received some light up gift boxes with red ribbon and really disliked it. So I ripped it all off and replaced the ribbon and made the bows with this gold snowflake ribbon! I think it looks gorgeous! The gold glitter really pops with the lights. Absolutely recommend this ribbon. It’s super pretty! 12/10!!

Bought this ribbon to embellish my Christmas tree, and let me tell you… I’m regretting my decisions. This ribbon is so thin, it feels cheap. The “wiring” along the edges isn’t wiring at all. You can’t bend or form it to your liking. Literally just flattens out. Spare yourself the frustration and buy something a little on pricier side because this is NOT it.
