How do you replace the built in sponge filter?

I'm not seeing replacement sponges on Amazon or on the hygger website. If you rinse it out good with your water changes it should last a long time, otherwise you might have to get a generic sponge and cut it to fit. To be honest, I'd probably just buy a whole new filter at that point since they're cheap and the sponge it comes with should last a long time.

My tank came with a small submersible air pump. Would a submersible pump work with this filter?
