Rowlinson Willington Bench 1.2m

Easy to build, I’m not the best at DIY so anyone who is good at DIY will have no problem. I would say it can be done on your own but it’s so much easier & quicker building it with another person. So sturdy and comfortable. Yes I would recommend. Great price. Great quality.

Bench arrived promptly. The screws that came with it were very poor quality so we had to abandon putting it together, however the seller very quickly sent us some high quality fixings that did the job beautifully. Apart from that the bench is VERY easy to assemble if you have two people. We've only had it a couple of weeks now and it looks great, lovely finish, very comfy. I am 5 foot 1 and can sit comfortably enough but it's definitely better if I use a cushion.My husband is 6 foot tall and says it's great. It has a nice curve in the back to offer some lumbar support. It's not a highly varnished finish but matt.

Good piece of furniture. Instructions suggest that two people should build it up, but it can be done by one person. The majority of comments are centred around the quality of the screws/allen key, or lack of. If you are considering, or have already ordered this bench, I would suggest to use your own good quality allen key for the assembly. Not a perfect solution because the main problem is that the screws are too soft, but they will do the job as long as you don't let the allen screw slip and damage the screws head.

Great bench! Very sturdy and good value for the price. My one negative comment is that one of the large bolts/screws had a burred head and could not be screwed in with the Alum key provided. After a great deal of effort, we managed to get it most of the way in, but it is not flush with the bench. That aside, I am very happy with the bench and would definitely recommend it to other buyers.

The delivery people were very cooperative in the delivery. A great product, assembly was easy with a second pair of hands. We were sitting on a very comfortable seat in no time.

I had read most of the reviews and ratings about this product - going back to 2017 - and I must confess to being a little worried about having purchased this product. I needn't have - clearly they have done a little redesign - the product is well constructed, very sturdy when assembled, of good quality timber, evenly tanned coloured, and unmarked or blemished. Shall be applying a couple of layers of external clear varnish and I expect to enjoy my stylish bench for a few years to come - very pleased ;)

This garden bench is sturdy and good looking. I would say the colour in the photo is not very representative of the actual bench, which is a more reddish shade than shown. I was disappointed with the colour but wouldn't send it back for this alone (too much hassle) and know that it will fade and need revarnishing in a year or two.It was easy to build (took about 40 minutes) and looks great.Great customer service from the seller who sent me an e-mail thanking me for purchasing from them and giving me a contact number if I had any problems.

Three bolt heads stripped when tightening. Replaced in post, thanks, so if and when they get loose I can replace them. Otherwise very good value, although instructions could be more detailed and accurate. Put the seat in BEFORE tightening up sides.
