Does the job but a little loose. I improvised by using a hair elastic to wrap around the end.

Have just used this wind cover for my shotgun microphone once since I got it, and it seems to be pretty good. My only complaint is it is a very tight fit trying to get it over a foam wind shield that is already on the mic. But with a bit of a tug here and a stretch there, ooh 'ere missus, lol.. it fits. Would recommend it if you are on a budget and don't want to spend hours in post production trying to get rid of wind noise.

It's hard to measure the effect this device has - I've tried my gun microphone with and without it, and I reckon this makes the sound better, especially when it's windy, but it's not perfect and the best solution to the problem of shooting when it's windy is to find some shelter, or wait for better conditions.

I cut from this to fit various cameras and the wind noise reduction was astounding! Not perfect in gale force, but very good in low wind situations. Now I can hear the birds and the sea without the rumble of wind. Caution if you cut, it does make a mess, but it was worth it!

Sad to report it does not make much difference if the wind blows hard. The audio becomes unusable and you will need a blimp. I'm getting the picture now. These do not help much in windy conditions.

Works well but looks out of place for what I'm using it for.

I have purchased lots of items under the Neewer brand and as always fantastic quality and value. The wind cut furry shield is excellent and does its job well. I have fitted to the microphone of a Sony HXR-MC 2500 camcorder.

Just fits over my Sennheiser MKE 600 with its foam muff. Seems it's made of the right stuff. Feel it's the best I can do without spending fortunes.
