Extremely inconsistent, timid, and ultimately half-baked.
This pedal does some things far better than others. Let's run down the different settings, followed by some general observations:-- Long Reverb is fussy to dial in but sounds decent once you've got it where you want it. Takes a bit of time to fade in.-- Spring Reverb does what it says on the tin and is probably my favorite of the bunch.-- Phase Vibratoverb is pretty subtle on the phase and vibrato alike; not my favorite, but I can at least see some circumstances where it'd be useful.-- Tremolo Verb has a bit better control than some of the other settings (more on this shortly), making it a bit more fun to work with, even if it's not an "always-on" effect by any means.-- Flanger Verb was disappointing; the flanger's a bit too timid to be all that useful.-- Vibrato Verb sounded similar to Tremolo Verb, at least to my ears.-- Pitch Verb was something of a letdown for lack of control.-- Octave Verb is somewhat like Pitch Verb, only more disappointing because it doesn't even bother with 2/3 of the control knobs.General observations: The housing is large, and that has more to do with all of the text on the pedal than it does with any functional concerns. You could easily have made a two-up/two-down knob arrangement and made the pedal much smaller. This seems borne out by another reviewer who went so far as to take the pedal apart and remarked on all its empty space. While the housing's solid, it's very lightweight. The controls could be a lot better. On the one hand, one patch (the aforementioned Octave Verb) only uses one of the three knobs and has minimal control. Two of the 'verbs also give you control over bass, treble, and decay but lose an opportunity for further sound shaping; I think I'd rather have seen a master tone knob and something else for further tweakability.I noticed a subtle "vocal" sound -- like some of the effects had some formant attached. I didn't mind terribly, but it's something to be aware of.Finally, some effects are too timid even when you push their settings to the max. I don't always need extremes, but it's nice to have the option. If you want a flanger, trem, or vibrato, you're better off getting those separately and just running them through the Spring reverb; you'll have many more sound-shaping capabilities at your fingertips. But if you're going to do that, it rather begs the question of why you wouldn't just buy a better reverb to go with your other pedals. So who's it for? I guess if you don't have a reverb pedal already, this wouldn't be a terrible option. That said, sometimes it's better to get more than one pedal for better control rather than a single one that ends up with several half-baked compromises. It's not terrible, but I don't know that it's good enough to keep long-term.

Man, I REALLY wanted to like this, & Gokko rocks in general...but nope on this one
Man, I REALLY wanted to like this, & Gokko rocks in general...but nope on this one.I use multi-fx boards & usually the reverb is built into my presets...but when Gokko offered this for review, it made me think how much more it could fit how I wanted to sound from song to song night to night if I had a really versatile palette of reverb & delay I could just dial in at will & to taste, & decided to give this a try in that role. The pedal itself is really attractive, has nice materials & workmanship, & does an *excellent* job of conveying, right on the face, how to navigate a fairly complex forest of parameter/knob assignments, and of packing a ton of functionality into the simple 3-knob interface. Very nice work. But I really like my reverb as a light touch--my default is spring-flavor, flirting around between 1 & 2 on a scale of 10 lol--and this pedal STARTS YOU OUT at a FIFTEEN. I mean, as dry as you can go is about ten times as wet as I've ever ventured. And, outside the plain ol' reverb, I had high hopes some of other settings might be useful... but maybe ONE of the many flavors/settings this pedal offers--and, hey, there is a really creative & generous array of them--but mabye **one** came across to me as anything but oddball, un-musical and/or just plain goofy. But, that being said, I'm a pretty niche electric-blues player, we're notorious Rip Van Winkles... & I may not be the guy to listen to if your tastes are more contemporary: I can't say these wouldn't appeal to someone with an ear for edgier or more modern tones & styles--hell, I barely venture into delay from reverb lol. But, even dialed down to ZERO on every 'wet' value, to me, this pedal had me sounding like I was echoing through a big underground cavern, & there was no way to dial in anything nearly subtle enough to suit me...but then, I'm **really** opinionated-your mileage may vary: this pedal may start you at exactly a floor you're comfortable with.My stodgy ol' two cents. ;)(Gokko makes excellent pedal boards, by the way!)

Not bad for the money
Has a lot of features, but somewhat lacking in tone. Overall, not too bad for a budget pedal. This would be good in the practice room for experimenting with different sounds.

Ok but not great
This pedal provides a variety of reverb modes but few that stand out. The closest to a traditional reverb is the spring, which was pretty decent considering the price of the pedal. The other modes ranged from just ok to not good. I don't see myself using this pedal to add in reverb although it might work well before dirt pedals.
