3D Eye Patch (Right Eye)

I've tried several eye patches and this one is the best by far. I have to wear it from the time I get up to the time I go to bed, so the details matter to me. I have worn this patch for 7 days and I have already bought a second one in case something happens to the first one. You know, like a terrible spaghetti sauce accident or something. The material is very comfortable and soft. The edges where it contacts your face are wide and soft so they don't dig in to your skin. Other patches I've tried had hard edges and they became very uncomfortable after 3 or 4 hours. The shape does not interfere with my covered eye and my eyelashes don't touch it. The strap is adjustable so you can have the tension you want. The strap is wider than other patches so it doesn't cut into my skin the way some other patches do. It also does a great job of blocking out the light. The extra piece that extends over the bridge of the nose helps a lot. That is where several other eye patches let in a lot of light for me. There are a lot of different face shapes so I imagine there will be some difference for each users. Personally, I am able to wear my glasses over this patch, it's not a perfect fit but it is comfortable enough that I can wear my glasses for many hours. But there are a lot of different styles of glasses and they may fit differently so some people might have trouble wearing glasses over it. You just have to test it for yourself. The only change I would make would be to make the strap longer. It is 2 pieces that connect with velcro so you can adjust the length. I'm an average sized person and I have the strap adjusted so there is only about 1 inch of velcro overlap. It hasn't been any kind of problem. It is strong enough to hold and has never come undone but I know there are people out there who are larger than me and they might not be able to adjust it out far enough. I am so thankful to finally find a patch that is comfortable enough to wear all day!

Often the ones at drugstores are more like a comb shape or a little bit hard or there’s always something that is bothersome This one was reasonable in price and is extremely comfortable. It is soft and flexible as well as washable. The back of it has Velcro so you can adjust the size. Because of the softness and the fact that it has a little bit of give to it, I can tell that it would not give you a headache from wearing it The design allows you to keep the eye that is covered either open or closed comfortably. I have long eyelashes which makes it hard for me to buy sunglasses since they’re always hitting the lens. And I can easily keep my eye open with this on and it never touches It also keeps 99% of the light out. I have to close both eyes and try really hard to see any gaps. If I didn’t do that, I would say it keeps 100% the light out. I would highly recommend this

I get migraines constantly, with most of them starting behind my right eye—it’s been this way since I was a teen and I’m almost certain it’s due to Binocular Vision Disorder. I can’t get assessed for that at the moment, so in the meantime just wearing my glasses will eventually set off a migraine. And I discovered that covering my right eye can relieve the migraine so much faster than just painkillers and rest alone. This eye patch is very comfortable, doesn’t put pressure on my eyeball, and does a good job of keeping out the light. I feel like a pirate, and I love it!

I have been through just about every type of eye-patch I've been able to find, and this one has worked by far best for my use. I get serious migraines if I get unexpected increases in light to my right eye, so I spend long hours with a patch over that eye to protect it and myself. These patches rest comfortably over my eye so they don't touch it, so I can keep it open and blink without noticing it. And it helps alot to with hygiene, as my eye is free to clear itself. They are also quite soft, and I've had them on my face for many, many long hours without any discomfort where they rest on my skin. They also are surprisingly reusable for their price, as I can hand-wash them with soap in the sink. They are not quite good-as-new after a couple of washes, but they are still servicable. And I don't need to wash them often, as again they are sitting on the eye like many other types of patches which helps it remain clean for a longer time. The only drawback is probably the adjustable stretch-band, as it looses some of its tension after much use and a few washes. They remain usable, but less reliable for me to in bright environments as the eye-patch needs to be firmly in place and not let in any light or its migraine city, population me. But for just hanging out and watching TV at home or whatever, then the older ones are still quite servicable, and I just use newer ones if I'm heading somewhere bright. I was very glad to have found these, and I order a new batch regularly. If I wasn't so prone to loosing the ones i have, I probably would have to order them less often too, they are that decent at lasting.

Good, comfortable eyepatch that serves its purpose. The concave patch works great in creating separation from the eye. Only problem is that it doesn’t last more than 2-3 weeks before the front & back covers begin to separate from the foam center. I understand these patches weren’t intended to last a lifetime, but more than a month or so would be ideal. Also, I wish I looked as cool wearing my patch as the dude in the ad.

I have a lazy eye- just like the rest of me. I purchased several eye patches and there was no comparison. These are really good. While not the most aesthetically pleasing, they were style wise the most comfortable and functional. I have fine hair medium length and the all the string eyepatches got tangled in my hair. This eyepatch has a thick band so didn't grab my hair. Many of the other eyepatches did a terrible job of covering the eye. The roomy area so you can keep your other eye open feels way better. The only issue I had was some of the inside area poked/rubbed the side of my nose became, well, everyone has different sized faces and features. A tiny bit of trimming and perfect fit. Since I am addressing a lazy eye and only wear at home, the comfort and function are the only thing I care about. If you must wear an eyepatch outside the house and the big patch makes you uncomfortable then just buy a nice out and about one. I haven't tried all the eyepatches in the world, but I loved this style compared to any other one. I bought several. Oh, and my dad used after his eye surgeries and he agreed. Something to considers: I have a big head for a female- an Elaine Benice of heads for you Seinfeld fans, so I am not sure how comfortable this patch would be on smaller and/or narrower heads.

More comfortable than others

My daughter needed brain surgery that caused her to have double vision for a while. In order to return to school, she had no choice but to wear an eye patch so she could see. We tried many different brands, but this one was her favorite. It is very soft, does not allow light in through the cracks, is curved away from her eye enough that she does not feel smothered by it, and it has a nice bit of padding around it that it was comfortable and did not irritate her like some of the other brands we used. I hope we never have a need to use it again, but if we ever do, we’ll definitely buy this one.

I got this to help my lazy eye. It works with eyelashes and everything and even though I’ve decided to embrace my slightly lazy eye (lol) this product is as described! :-)
