3 jars rather than a packaged set
These are 1 litre Kilner jars. If you're looking at them you probably know what you're expecting them to be and these are exactly that.Mine were delivered as 3 separate jars wrapped in bubble wrap, not as a packaged set of 3 as pictured, which might be relevant if intending to gift and is the only reason for 4* instead of 5*

Handy, sturdy jara
As ever with Kilner, always a great product.My daughter dropped my last one and it smashed into several pieces. More smaller pieces than I'd expect so this was a replacement.I use them to store baking products and a 1.5ltr jar will hold a 1kg bag of any sugar. The clip keeps them air tight so no air or moisture can get in. The clips are a little fiddly for smaller hands and a bit scary when they flick up, again for smaller people.Replacement seals can be bought at several places and last a long time.

Strange smell and packaging was very damaged
Kilner jars are great and I bought these for storing flour and once washed and dried they are fine, I can't comment on whether the seal works well yet since only time will tell. However, they arrived in a huge box which was crushed and battered and I thought they would be broken inside, the glass was fine but if you wanted these for a present the cardboard holder was mangled in the corners. The jars had a terrible fishy smell inside and I almost sent them back but onced washed they were ok, the jars look fine but the moulding of the glass isn't centred at the bottom and I wonder if they are 'seconds'. I am going to keep them but I thought I would warn others.

Good Quality Traditional Jars
Good quality and safely packaged. I run a small B&B and wanted to be able to keep my cereals in airtight jars which also looked attractive on the breakfast table.A few other reviewers have commented about the unpleasant smell, which was also evident in mine when I first opened them. The smell seemed to be from the rubber seals and after giving the jars a good wash and leaving them to thoroughly dry, they are now fine.I am very pleased with my purchase.

Five Stars
We were given a set of three of these Kilner jars for our wedding and were so impressed with the quality of the jar and the locking mechanism that we ended up buying another set. The seal is really effective at keeping things fresh (we keep chickpeas, flour, split peas and lentils in them) and the glass seems pretty thick (so they're in no way flimsy or fragile). I would highly recommend these jars.

Great Jars and a Bargain Price
These are my first ever Kilner jars and so good are they that I've already ordered several more in various sizes!They are strong and sturdy, well-made and excellent quality.Two were put to work straightaway with raspberry gin and the third has been screaming at me to be filled, so tonight I had my first canning experience/experiment and preserved some leftover lamb into a litre of stew.Wonderful jars, and so versatile. Will I ever have enough? ;-)

Hopefully these are not as flimsy as the wires suggest
Not bad, a little disappointed that one of the jars leaked at the seal - had a spare so not a problem on the day. Wires are not as strong as I initially expected them to be

Beaten up box, smashed jar, not quite as pictured
Nothing wrong with the jars themselves but the cardboard box they were packed in was old, beaten up and had a carpet cleaner label stuck on it so seemed like a random box. Inside one of the jars was smashed. Not best pleased...Also my jars were screw-top, not as pictured and described, which have a glass top with rubber seal.

Great Quality for the right price
I got these 1 litre Kilner jars for a variety of preserving requirements, and also to give out for Christmas presents (full of course).This sleeve of 3 jars arrived safely and very well packed and ready for use.I paid a little under £12 for 3 jars, which I though was good value for money.Many of my Kilner Jars are decades old, and I see no reason why these should not give many years of service.

Brill storage.!
Speedy delivery,neatly packed.Six of these now sit proudly on my pine dresser shelf, filled with a variety of dried foods. They look olde worldie and contents are easy to see with or without vintage style labels!I also use them for buttons and ribbons and beads in my sewing space. They look lovely lined up together,as well as being utterly practical.An investment as they will last forever.Love them!

Excellent quality airtight jars useful for making sloe gin and preserves
I use these jars to make sloe gin over the autumn and winter months. They provide an excellent airtight seal that prevents oxygen entering the jars and the alcohol vapor leaving them. They are easy to clean. I use sterilising tablets to sterilise the jars before using them. Highly recommended.
