What is diffference betwqeen "A" and "B"?

honest answer .. a and b? i did buy this product and its useless . work for one week and the glue or what ever on it were off . and it not good any more you want my advise do not waste your money

will this product stop a leak around base of toilet prior to replacing the wax ring ?

The best answer I can give you isn't really going to be based on anything other than my personal experience. But maybe it will help you decide what direction to proceed. I believe that, yes it can help stop leaks around the base of your toilet....but it is going to depend on why it leaks and how much it is leaking. My situation was due to my boyfriend was over zealous with the plunger a couple times, causing a leak. It wasn't a major problem, and the wax ring didn't need to be replaced. It did solve the leak, it looks 100% better, and I feel that our floor is more sanitary around the toilet. I hope my answer has helped you. Good luck with your project!

What is the thickness of this tape? I hope to use it on the hinge of a folding shelf.

The accurate thickness is 1.2mm, about 0.05 ". it has good adhesion, but it is relatively soft and uncertain whether it can be used on the hinge of a folding shelf

Can you put it over existing caulk?

You certainly can, and I did in some spots, however you’re liable to have some lumps & probably will have some uneven lines as a result. It will certainly lie flatter & more evenly if you remove existing caulk, but that’s a lot of work, of course. Uneven tile will also cause some unevenness, but that’s pretty unavoidable.
