I wanted to get her something for her patio and she made a cute fairy light display out of this gift. So it was money well spent. Maybe a bit of condensation got inside but they are pretty exposed. maybe if you put this under an awning, it would be perfectly protected, but this is powered by solar. Which also holds up really well. But my mom took this indoors when winter hit so nothing to report on that. a great summer time fairy lights in a jar.

I had 2 sets delivered on July 12, to hang outside since Texas heat was frying all plants. I used only 5, 3 on my back patio and 2 on the front porch. I just went out to change location of one on the patio and the ring has rusted. The lights still work but not sure how the rust will affect. The info says stainless steel but definitely not. The 2 on the front were not as exposed to rain and have not rusted.

These are beautiful. I purchased four and will buy another four. I put them in a tree and they look lovely and are very bright.

EDIT:First review was sad because all were not working. I messaged seller and was sent a replacement and an extra set of lights with the solar panel. Now all are working and look beautiful!! The lights are bright and warm yellow color which I love, also they are water and weatherproof as now I've had these a few weeks and storms have come and gone. In love with my purchase and thank-you so much!!!!Was so excited purchasing these for my garden and one out of the four didn't work. I followed all directions to try to fix it but I guess I will have to settle for 3 jars instead of the four I paid for..my kids love catching lightening bugs so these add a nice touch. Would have rated five star if all of them worked correctly and after the rain..buy at your own expense because who knows how many you will get that work..😔

These are great, still going strong after 3 years. There was a problem with one I gave away as a gift (water got inside and it stopped working after a year) and the company sent a replacement top quickly. The metal tops will rust in a tropical climate if left outside all year, but I haven't cleaned them or tried anti-rust paint.
