Character Options Scooby Doo Scooby Hide & Seek

There are some great features here but also a few drawbacks. This toy is a little overpriced for what it actually is. On the TV this looks great but in reality it isn't as hot as you'd expect. Here's the lowdown:* You hide Scooby, press the button on your control and his voice tells you whether you are hot or cold.* The toy won't work properly if Scooby has fallen over.* Both the remote and Scooby require batteries, so be ready.* Occasionally it gives a bogus reading, telling you that you're 'cold' when you are right next to it.For a toy which has been carrying a £25+ price tag for quite some time now you'll probably expect it to do a bit more than it actually does, the Scooby quotes are done in an authentic voice but are quite limited.The kids loved this at first but the novelty wore off within a day or two. Now they use it as a cuddly toy and don't actually play hide and seek with it any more.

I bought this for my Grandson and he loved it immediately, he played hide and seek when he opened it and was loving Scoobies voice and really enjoyed himself. I got it because my Granddaughter was still a little to young to play hide and seek with him so thought it would be ideal for mum or dad to hide it and let him go hunting and keep him occupied. I would recommend this for 4 or 5 year olds and is an ideal present for an only child too.

We got this after seeing it on tv and the kids didn't take to it as we'd hoped. The voice of Scooby is sometimes saying the wrong thing, telling you that you're "cold" when he's actually right behind you.It takes a shed load of batteries, 6-8 in total, and while it's a great idea our 2 year old and 6 year old haven't picked him back up since the 2nd day he arrived.

Bought this for our 6 year old at Xmas. She and her older sister had loads of fun on Xmas day. The only drawback is that you can't go too fast otherwise the controller doesn't pick up the signals from Scooby. TRy telling that to an over excited 6 year old!!!!

I bought the Scooby Doo Scooby Hide and Seek for my Granddaughter's 7th birthday. When it arrived I put batteries in and tried it out. The voice was very "Scooby" and some of his comments were very funny. My Granddaughter is mad on Scooby Doo and was very happy to open her parcel on her birthday.Scooby can also be cuddled without using the remote which is a bonus . I think this was a great choice of present for my Granddaughter and would recommend this for any Scooby Doo lover, girl or boy.

I brought this for My Grandson who loves Scooby Doo, he has played with it quite a lot to say how many toyshe received for christmas

It states in picture and in the details it's suitable for 3+ but when I received the actual box says 5+, not great when it's for a 3 year olds birthday!

Great toy, however it doesn't always find scooby as doesn't "get warmer" even though you stand right next to it
