Byron DB301 30m Wireless Portable Door Chime Kit with 1 Sound

Works great takes 3 triple a batteries for the console but the button comes with a battery in it. I love in a flat and my previous doorbell was pretty much unheqrable from inside the living room with complete silence, let alone with music or TV on. This is loud enough in the same position and connects easily. I also like that the doorbell looks very simple so it is less likely that some kid will try to break or steal it

For the price this is hard to beat. Byron are known for their doorbells and this is a no frills version. Comprises bell push and sound unit with single tone ringer. Not compatible with other Byron bells in case you were thinking of a cheap way of extending an existing system. Installation time is the time it takes to attach the bell push to a suitable surface - the ringer can be clipped anywhere within 30m (that's 100 feet in English). Or use the system as a fully portable alert. Simple and cost effective.

Great buy and great price. Nice simple ringer with 2 volumes…loud and extra loud lol. The sound travels all around my house so it works for me. The only thing that lets it down is the batteries. they just about fit in the slot as in the space is too big. im worried that one knock and they will be dislodged meaning the ringer wont be respond to the bell. I can always use a bit of tape. apart from that its really good.

This is a fantastic wireless door chime for the money and it works brilliantly. We had tried several expensive door chimes which all failed to work after a very short space of time. Save your money and buy this little beauty. Dead easy to fit as well. What is there not to like - Well done Byron - Ding Dong!!!

I am now collecting the chime portions of this bell having had successive failures on the bell push which only acts for a short time then ceases to do so. I try to find a bell push only but seem to have to buy the pair although it is not the chime receiver at fault. The bell push is poorly designed as the battery soon becomes loose or the backing plate becomes loose. Buck up Byron. Improve the push design and make the bell push available as a replacement. I most definitely do not recommend.

Drains batteries really fast, have tried expensive, cheap, rechargable and extra heavy duty ones and although not many people ring the doorbell it always seems to be drained after a week or so. However looks good and easy to fit and chime is inoffensive. If anyone has tips on the best brand of battery to use would be grateful.

We actually ordered this by mistake as we were looking for a replacement for a plug in wireless doorbell that we already owned. We came across this and as it looked the same we purchased it. On arrival we saw our mistake and that it is indeed wireless but not a plug in electric one. However, it really didn't matter as it takes 3 x AA batteries (not supplied) which are cheap enough to replace when they wear out. It did come with the battery in the door bell push.We have our receiver towards the back of the house which is 3 rooms back from the door bell push and have had no problems with the sound transmitting to that room. It has a loud ding dong sound.The receiver has a moulded clip on the back for fixing but we just have it sitting on top of the cupboard out the way.Perfect especially for the £5.99 price tag. Happy with purchase.

The unit drains the life out of the batteries very quickly, they only seem to last a few days. It’s a good doorbell and very loud but it’s costing me a fortune in batteries, might just go back to the post it note that says “no bell, knock loudly”

Fonctionne très bien

Carillon en effet très basique, mais qui fonctionne parfaitement, la portée est suffisante, pas de problème pour passer à travers les murs. Ma mise en place est simple et rapide. Tout cela pour un prix très correct, bref que demander de plus ?Edit : nous sommes en décembre 2015, le carillon fonctionne toujours aussi bien. Il suffit de changer les piles deux fois par an. Excellent achat.

Utilisée pour équiper une maisonnette enfant. Un niveau de volume sonore réglable. Un "ding dong ding dong" simple et pas désagréable. Je ne connais pas la durée de vie de ce produit. Ca fait deux mois qu'elle équipe la cabane enfant du jardin et elle fonctionne pour l'instant très bien.

très facile de pose et de fonctionnement. basique. seul bémol, la consommation de piles : on doit changer tous les 2 mois les piles du boitier intérieur et il n'y a pas de voyant ou autre pour prévenir quand elles ont usées donc les visiteurs attendent au portail ou le livreur laisse un mot alors que vous êtes là. dommage.

reçu ce matin et ne fonctionne pas , j'ai suivi les instructions à la lettre et si le bouton fonctionne , je le reçois sur mon transceiver Baofeng uv5r VHF/UHF à la fréquence marqué sur l'appareil , il est impossible de faire appareiller le bouton avec le boitier sonnerie qui refuse de sonner . Il vaut donc son prix c'est un gadget dont certains fonctionnent et d'autre pas puisque sans doute pas vérifier après construction
