The chocolates are made where these figs are grown, in Extremadura southwest Spain.The fig that inspired Valero family to make Rabitos is the Calabacita or "little pumpkin". This exceptional variety of fig ripens with a gentle, honeyed flavour, plenty of natural sweetness and a tender skin.
