iPhone XS/X Battery Case, Vproof 3600mAh Rechargeable Portable Charger External Protective Charging Case for Apple iPhone XS (5.8 Inch) (Black)

After purchasing my iPhone X, I knew I needed a battery case. I have owned one with my last three iPhones and I know what features I want.Most of all, I want THIN & QUALITY. Batteries are big, and many cases will make your $1100 iPhone look like a $200 Nintendo.This case is the thinnest I could find. It is very comfortable in my pocket.I dropped it and it would not charge correctly (Dropped it from a moving motorcycle btw and my phone lived just fine with no damage other than needing a new screen protector) and just purchasing a new case to get me through the next few months until the next iPhone. For $25, this case is a steal and a life changer for sure if you have been using normal cases all this time.

UPDATE 8/4/18: Added stars because Customer service contacted me and has offered me a replacement unit to fix the sync issues. I will update any new findings once I have received the new unit.This is my third case of this style, but the first one from this supplier. I love the design of this case and the reason I tried to switch to this one is because the other two cases I purchased, broke after about a month. So I was very excited about this particular case. The case is fairly thin, and grip. As far as the ergonomics, the only issue I have is that you cannot place the unit on a table face down because the screen will touch the surface. It’s not a big deal since I have a screen protector on the phone. The biggest issue I have with the case and the reason I will be returning it, is because it does not sync while in the case. The lightning port only allows the unit to be charged. This means if you need to sync with your computer through usb, you have to remove the case. I am not sure if the unit I have is faulty, because the description clearly states that it can sync with the case on, but that does not work in my case.

The battery case fits my phone well, even with a wrap around screen protector. It is light and still fits into my holster. It is great for traveling where it would be inconvenient to pull out a charger. I can watch a movie on a plane, listen to an audiobook and still have over 50% on the case with a fully charged phone. It charges with a lightening port. The phone slips in and out of the case easily. Easily doubles or more battery life of the phone.

Great Product! Especially for the price!! First time owner of a charging case and I couldn't be any happier. Fits very well & now I don't have to worry about loosing charge throughout the day or having to worry about carrying a wall charger or battery bank with me. Perfect for vacations and adventures! The only "issue" would be the magnet for the magnetic car mounts.... yeah that doesn't work so well as the phone & case combined make for a heavy device (nothing you cant get used to) but id gladly give that up for battery life any day of the week. I haven't tried placing a magnetic plate (the extras that come with the magnetic car mount for the phones) on the outside of the case to see if it would hold up stronger and not sure if I will as of yet but sure its worth a try - so long as it doesn't damage the case.

In lieu of an official Apple battery case being available for the iPhone X, this case works... It's not perfect, but if you're a heavy phone user, you'll need something and this does the trick. It's a bit on the heavy side, but again, the alternative is nothing or an external charging device (which I don't like). I wish it covered the screen a bit more since I lay my phone down on it's face. Otherwise, it's a good buy for the money.

This is a nice case. I like it much better than the zerolemon one with the huge chin. This would be a 5 star case if the edges were a bit thicker and it provided some front protection. I have a glass screen protector on and it works fine with this case. If you aren’t using a screen protector the case sits flush with the screen so just be aware of that and don’t set your phone down screen first.

Used the case for two hiking trips. After the second, it no longer charges my phone. Case will take a charge, but it won’t transfer that charge to my phone. Swell. Money wasted.

It’s great when it works, but unfortunately this will just randomly stop charging. I can turn on on the case and it’ll start charging again immediately, but I shouldn’t have to do this. Can’t wait until Apple has an official iPhone X battery case!UPDATE: the seller was kind enough to offer to send a free replacement to me if I updated my review, so here’s to hoping that one works as advertised.
