The safety latch was easy to apply once I had wrestled it out of the manufacturer's packaging. Clean the door/unit/frame surfaces with meths to ensure good adhesion. Make sure you place the base plates accurately because you will not be able to remove or adjust them subsequently without risking damage to the latch or the unit.Very simple to use, either or both ends can be un-clipped enabling the latch to be completely removed if desired, leaving just the base plates in situ. The latch defeats my 4 year old granddaughter but is no match for my 8 year old grandson who undid the latch on his first attempt.I used my latch on an American style fridge freezer with side by side doors, one base plate on each door. It would be equally effective on single door appliances or units, one base plate on the door and one on the frame.I only fitted them a few weeks ago so cannot vouch the durability of the product but it appears to be a solid, well made item.

Hands down, the best safety lock of its type! The sticky pads are silicone and not the foam ones which can detach easily. I’ve used these on cupboards and fridge/freezer. They have a very strong adhesive My 9 year old can undo them but my 6 and 2 year olds can’t as they are a wide square and you have to have the strength to pinch both sides at a distance. Small hands struggle with this...which is the aim right?! Other types of safety lock my 2 year old can just open by yanking in the doors/drawer fronts and they just split and give way. The Lindam ones don’t. Buy cheap, but twice.

These are strong enough to keep a 2 year old out unlike other simular products I've bought in the past.They're also very easy to apply and work pretty much staright away - although the manufacturer recommends you allow them to sit for 24 hours to get the best result.The only downside is they're expensive but you get what you pay for...

Two kids, a decade down the line and these are the best damn cupboard clips I've found.. got 3 still in action atm, longer been on the cupboard under the sink for 3 odd years and still going strong. Can not fault the adhesive patches so far and my sons tried to get in, alot! Also like the design too, takes some co-ordination and Pinching to crack it..

The best door lock we could find which actually works!!...with a VERY strong and determined toddler!Simple to apply and easy for an adult to use and you can also remove the strap completely when not needed as they do up and undo from either side.No drilling required, simple and quick to apply - just leave for 24hrs before using them to allow the adhesive to bond.Unsure how difficult they will be to remove or if they will cause any damage to the paint as we have not tried to remove any of them as yet but fingers crossed they’ll come off easily when we no longer need them! We have them in use on our lower kitchen cupboard doors and on a few cabinets around the house and wardrobe doors.Perhaps they are slightly more expensive than some others available but you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny to keep my toddler safe.

These are lifesavers if you have an inquisitive baby! No screws or tricky positioning, fixes on easily and won't budge. Comes in a pack of two so excellent value. We have bought loads and did all our kitchen cupboards. Much better than our last set of magnetic locks which stopped working after a few months.

With the door locks don’t go for cheap comes more expensive in the long run as you have to keep replacing. Rest assured when you buy these you won’t need to be replacing them anytime soon so it’s better value in the long term even though they are pricey they work wonders!

Great safety strap. Sticks superbly and it’s really easy to use, just squeeze the edges and it opens. Keeps little hands away from dangerous products! If I had any criticism of it, it would be that it could do with being a little more compact, but that’s nitpicking to be fair
