I would actually rate this "type" of house at 4 stars because of the tendency to collapse. As this is true of all houses of this design, I am giving the Runwosen brand an extra star for the thoughtful extras the others like it didn't have -- loop straps at each outside corner for securing the house to the ground with tiedown stakes, which are included with purchase! Can't imagine how you'd keep this from blowing away without this upgrade, even after stuffed with straw.The collapsing "roof" is a design problem. I found cats laying on top of a collapsed house several times, which defeats the ultimate purpose, but have thought of a solution for it. Today I will purchase 14-inch embroidery hoops and secure the two pieces separately at back and center inside the house using gorilla tape before stuffing with STRAW (not hay!) -- which should keep the house from total collapse. I think it best not to put one at the front entrance, as a little "folding down" there will keep out excess wind if the straw gets too low in front with cats coming and going. A cheaper fix (if it were available to purchase today) is to buy a 14-inch diameter concrete building tube, usually sold in 4-foot lengths, and cut through to make multiple rings that are wider and possibly more sturdy than embroidery rings, but that's a project for another day. I have three of these houses installed outdoors and if/when I notice more critters in need of them, I will have tube rings cut and ready to try out on new houses. These houses are an easy, warm, waterproof solution for ferals after very minor modification and the cats here go inside readily when stuffed 1/3 to 1/2 full with heat retaining straw, IF the house is not smooshed down! They are a good value, and the loop straps and stakes make Runwosen the best choice.Afterthought: Large size is big enough for three smallish cats as stated, but they would need to be bonded cats, or otherwise willing to share. I don't see that happening with most community ferals. However, I do have two large-ish cats (one is part Maine coon, the other typical domestic size, <10#) who will share one house if it is really cold.

It's nice, cozy, the bedding feels soft. I dont think it would be good for an outside cat. It's not weather proof and gets very cold to touch. I put mine in a box on the porch for the stray tom. I did get the large thinking it would hold more than one but the opening is so big , I think the smaller one would hold more heat possibly. Wouldbt be bad for an indoor kitty. My indoor /outdoor cat loves it and goes straight for it

I bought this for two stray cats outside . I haven’t put it outside yet but I will say for now the material is good and waterproof and came with easy assembly .

Look is nice and is waterproof for the rain unfortunately bottom gets soaked from ground this house is not best on the ground it need a small platform to be off the ground so when it rains the bottom don’t get soaked from ground being wet. I put a self heating pad inside the house the cushion they have in the house is good but cold so I had it ad a little more warmth for my stray.If this house was on a small platform or something to keep off ground and the cushion didn’t cold in the house I would Gaven this a higher star. Now to find a platform to raise this house off ground an inch or two so bottom stays dry rest house stays dry.

These houses are very roomy and since I have alot of strays in my yard it will keep them nice and warm.

Highly upset I Understand you get what you pay for but this literally has a video of water getting poured on it and saying that it doesn't get wet when it actually does and not only that, but God forbid. If it snows, the shelter is going to literally smush down because there's nothing to hold the ceiling part up. It's crazy. I couldn't believe what I was looking at when I received it.It's not what it looks like in the pictures at all. It is not rounded rounded the way it is in the videos and picture. There's nothing plastic or metal to literally hold the ceiling from coming down. I got these for the cat. That's in my alley way because it's getting cold and I feel band now. I finally get enough money to at least buy 3 of them just for it to come like this.Very disappointing

I got the large and my 15 pound cat fits comfortably inside. She’s a bit of a nervous cat but always wants to be around me - so I move it to whatever room I’m in and she has a comfy place to go hide if she wants. I can hear her snoring so I know she’s relaxed. Isn’t really arch shaped more boxy - I could probably reshape it if I wanted to - but I don’t care.

My cat loves it. I got it for him and he spends most of his day inside it. The best thing is, I always know where to find him. I recommend this to all folks with cats. Of course it’s well-made. It’s warm, but the best part is the cat likes it.

J'ai choisi le grand format, à mon avis c'est correct pour 2-3 chats, pas 5. Le tissus est bien mais un peu mou, il faudrait un peu de renfort pour ne pas qu'il s'écrase. Je vais ajouter un tapis chauffant. Cet abri est dans un tempo donc pas directement à l'extérieur sinon j'en aurais choisi un plus solide. Il y'avait un bol pour chien qui venait avec et des piquets pour planter dans le sol comme une tente.

Il n'y a pas assez de bourrage à l'intérieur pour que l'animal soit confortable. Ça serait bien si ça serait vendu est une couverture moilleuse que nous pouvons laver à la machine
