The media could not be loaded. I purchased this hub to upgrade from a 4 port passive hub as I quickly needed more and more USB ports. This device has been a great addition to my setup allowing me to connect up to 7 devices at once, with a small toggable button beside each port to stop any data being transmitted between the hub and the computer. This is especially good for those with privacy concerns as now you have a physical confirmation that a camera is disconnected and not transmitting any data. The status lights also flash for when data is being transmitted which is also a good sign that the device is connected and working.Being a powered hub, this allows to charge devices a lot more faster than a passive hub and it reduces the strain on the USB port on your computer or device as it doesn't need to send so much power. Windows sometimes had issues detecting devices though a passive hub in some conditions to what I assume it being a power problem as the RGB lighting on my keyboard would flash sometimes or even be unresponsiveThe device itself is made from a decent material it's not a super cheap plasticity feeling device and it does have a little bit of weight to it, with soft, yet tactile buttons with a satisfying little click when it's fully pressed, the USB cable that connects the hub to the computer is a really thick cable with a decent length. This has allowed me to put the hub on the wall behind the desk and just have the "1 wire to rule them all" approach.Overall, I believe If you're someone who seems to always be running out of ports for Thier peripherals or even just want to clean the spaghetti junction of wires and move them away from the actual computer I highly recommend this product to you. It's a great price and I feel it will last for a long time.

Having used RSTech hubs in the past and found them to be well made and reliable, I had high expectations for this 7 Port USB 3.0 Hub and I wasn't disappointed.First impressions were very good. This is available from Amazon - I don't think I shop anywhere else these days so availability on this platform is important - and at a good price.The packaging is mainly recyclable which is really imnportant - just a couple of plastic slips for the unit and mains adapter - and is neat and attractive.This is a great example of "you get what you pay for" and for around £30 on a deal at Amazon, the unit is really well made with nice lines, a mirror-shine top and metallic trim. RSTech have gone for a less angular approach to this unit that ones I have owned in the past and it's an improvement - neat and functional. And it feels strong and well made.This version has touch on/off buttons for each port, which is great, plus really bright LED indicator lights for when a port is on - something I have found to be a bit lacking in older models.The addition of a 14 mode RGB light strip around the edge of the base of the unit doesn't add to the functionality (although it makes it easy to find in a dark room perhaps!) but it certainly adds to the fun and aesthetic of this hub - I like this feature.In use, it does exactly what it is meant to do; be a good quality USB hub, efficiently and competently. As this is a new unit, I don't know how long it will last for, but if my other RSTech hubs are anything to go by, it will be a very long time - I have confidence in this brand's build quality.There are a couple of improvements I think RS Tech could still make to this and other similar units.Although reassuringly weighty, the USB and 5v adapter wires are stronger can tend to "steer" the hub where I don't want it to go either on my desk or on top of my computer meaning that it slides around a little. The addition of some self adhesive hook & loop tape as a fixing option would be a nice touch.The other change I would make is in the plug type (UK). This unit has one of those plugs that seems to be upside down and too big, so if it is being used with a block adapter in the wall it is quite tricky to get it to fit - a much smaller plug would be welcome.On balance though, these minor downsides are made up for several times over by the quality and utility of this hub - it has already become a very welcome addition to my computer setup. I have a lot of peripherals that plug into this hub - drawing tablet, Streamdeck, extra tablet (as a second screen), wireless mouse and keyboard, a card reader and an external hard drive - all work flawlessly through it - I am a happy customer.

The power supply cable is thin but OK, but the special USB cable is extremely thick for the job it does. Very cumbersome in tight locations. Works very well though.

Delivered quickly, this hub is excellent. All ports working as expected and powered, deliver enough for external SSD and HDDs (2.5”)The blue LEDs that indicate if a port is on are a little dim imo but not no much that you can’t see them. In a dark room the on/off buttons can be a little hard to see also (black on black) I added some green stick-on dots and that works for me.The weight of this hub is good and with the rubber pads on the bottom help to stop it skidding around when inserting USBs.I'm very pleased with this hub, works well and stops all the rummaging around the back of my PC

After 2 years of use, never had any issue. All devices connected to it work as intended. On-Off buttons are a nice feature.

This hub is very useful for people that need more usb slots. Very easy to use and love how you can turn on/ off individual ports. Recommend

Its a good hub, the power supply failed after 3.5 years, bought a replacement for £9, one of the on/off light also failed. Should last longer than this.

Great functions - from amazing RGB, to connectivity of the ports and super ease to install.Looks super epic and totally recommend it.

Me gustó mucho producto, sólo hubo un detalle 😢... No funciona un puerto, al conectar algo, en la pantalla de mi laptop aparece un mensaje advirtiendo que hubo una falla al conectar el dispositivo y comienza a parpadear el led azul... De ahí en más funciona a la perfección

Fonctionne très bien le coté RGD ajoute une touche supplémentaire pour un setup gaming, ca change des hub classique

Semplicemente bellissimo, potente nell'alimentazione di altri dispositivi grazie al fatto di avere un suo personale alimentatore!Design molto accattivante, con molte opzioni di scelta negli effetti RGB!! Costato un po', ma ne vale la pena! Arrivo molto celere! Lo consiglio!

Pratique et esthétique grâce aux LEDs qui participent à la cohérence de mon setup.Les LEDs peuvent évidemment être éteintes parce que c'est tout de même très lumineux pendant la nuit.Il est possible d'activer/désactiver les ports ce qui est un plus.Je recommande.
