When I first saw the LEGO City Electric Sports Car 60383, I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, come on, an electric sports car made out of tiny plastic bricks? How cool can that really be? But let me tell you, I was wrong. Dead wrong. This set is not only incredibly fun to build, but it's also a blast to play with once it's finished.First off, let me just say that the attention to detail in this set is absolutely amazing. From the sleek design of the car itself to the little extras like the charging station and the minifigure driver, every aspect of this set has been meticulously thought out and executed. And let me tell you, putting it together was an absolute joy. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the pieces fit together perfectly. It took me a couple of hours to complete, but it was time well spent. But the real fun began once I had finished building the car. I mean, who knew that zooming around my living room floor in a tiny plastic electric sports car could be so entertaining? I found myself making race tracks out of pillows and furniture, challenging my cat to races, and even getting my partner in on the action. We had an absolute blast, and I have to say, this set has provided hours of entertainment for both myself and my loved ones.Overall, I have to give the LEGO City Electric Sports Car 60383 a solid 5 stars. It's fun, it's well-made, and it's just plain awesome. So if you're looking for a great LEGO set that will bring a smile to your face and provide hours of entertainment, look no further. This set is a winner in my book.

Simple, attractive, effective.
So, we'll lead with the disclaimer ; I know that a lot of people do NOT like the super vibrant highlighter-yellow that LEGO has been using in recent sets. I'm not on that list, as long as it's used *well*. There's moments where it makes all the sense in the world - emergency vehicles for use as a visibility aid, safety vests, high-spec 'tuner' vehicles that are SUPPOSED to stand out ... and even then, not usually as a primary color. This particular use fits into that last category. So the set is an obviously non-real-world inspired electric sports car. The set is designed for 5+, has no stickers, and has what I feel is a perfectly good, sleek look to it. The implication of electric batteries in the back as the main power source is .. a little cheesy, but perfectly reasonable for the age range intended, and is easily modified if desired. The set's build is fast, simple, and on the whole pretty enjoyable. The only flaw is that the set provides no good charging points on the car itself - the only studs that are accessible for that use are by the front of the windshield, and both of them are 'glass'. I understand that there's a bit of a careful parts budget here, but LEGO really should have worked in a single stud on the side somewhere to serve as a charging port. Still, that's a fairly minor flaw, and not one that will detract form any kids who want to play with it - and they *are* the target audience, to be certain.

Great quality
This Lego set is a smaller set, but fun and easy to build. It is a great addition to Lego collections. It was not overpriced which made the buy worth it .

Christmas gift worthy
I purchased this as a Christmas gift. All the parts were there. The kids enjoyed putting it together and then taking it apart to put it back together again. Instructions were straight forward. It wasn't a a bad build and only took about an hour for them to put together, if that. It's a little bit smaller than what was expected. But it got the kids to work together and they have fun playing.
