Despicable Me Frustration Board Game

Before you place your order, picture what you expect to see when you open the box. Are you thinking of a solid plastic unit, well crafted holes placed around the board for your colourful minions to go on their journey to the centre. A classic pop-up dice dome in the centre to finish things nicely.The reality, firstly you open the box to think to yourself 'Did they forget to pack the board?' before being drawn towards some well crafted minion shaped pieces and yes, a classic dome top pop-up dice unit but why is it on its own. Then you see it, a flimsy cardboard base, no crafted holes just small black circles which brings home the reality that if anyone starts to play rough then the whole board is going to move and your pieces will scatter.and with that, you close the lid back on the box and you sigh and wonder why did I pay the extra few pence for this version of the game.

Whatever happened to the solid plastic board you used to get with the original frustration game? Clearly with this one you are just paying for the minion brand as the base is just a piece of cardboard. Counters go flying everywhere when popping the dice.

ended up having to buy this twice as it was a chrismas gist and my little boy opened it its not good quality its just a dome thats rested in some card the peices are cool but thats about it your paying for the minions merchandice not a quality frustation bored

Very disappointing fragile board and small wobbly peices that you couldn't keep in place on board and every time my grandson moved his piece everything fell over! bring back the original frustration board more suitable for children. Would send back if I hadn't opened it. Would not recommend

Love the game but this version is very cheaply made, why it can't be made the same as the original I don't know, but the kids enjoyed it so can't grumble too much
