Kinetic 700 x 25c Trainer Tire

So far so good, been using it on a Kurt kinetik trainer and it has reduced the slipping by a lot from my regular road tire. The noise level is also lower than a regular road tire.I admit it is tougher to put on and would probably help to have some levers, but I didn't have any so I had to use other means and it still worked (screwdrivers)Overall I am glad I purchased it and am happy with the product.

So, these tires actually really do work better on a trainer than a normal street tire. I was skeptical but it is quieter and has better grip so there is less slipping and sqeaking and you get more power to the trainer this way. If you aren't sure if you should do it or not I would recommend that you do go with a tire specific to the trainer. It is a hassle to change tires but the difference is very noticeable.

Good trainer tire. Doesn't have a good bead to set the tire. You don't hear that satisfying ping when the tire sets after inflating. It fell off once while riding on the Kurt Kinetic Trainer causing my ride to end. Should be a little less expensive.

So I’m only writing this review because I don’t agree with the other reviews. Specifically with reference to ease of installation. I did read the other reviews and as a result, ordered an entire wheel and sprocket so all I have to do it change the entire wheel instead of taking the wheel off and changing the tube. I do recommend this approach. It isn’t really expensive to have an extra wheel, and now both me and my girlfriend can use the trainer with this same wheel for our individual bikes.However, this tire was not more difficult to put on the wheel than any other road bike tire I have. If you don’t want an extra wheel and sprocket, do not be afraid of this tire due to reviews claiming it is extremely difficult to put on. It isn’t. This is my experience.

Great training tire. It's actually amazing how quickly you can wear out a road tire on these trainers. This training tire grips much better and seems like a little harder compound. I'd really like to get another wheel and leave the training tire on it. It wasn't super easy to get it on the rim. A little dishwashing liquid helps. Pumped up to 110psi.

I have used this tire on a road bike that I put on a trainer. After 6 months of use averaging 30 minutes per day 4ish days a week, it is still going strong. It took me some time to get the tire on the bike as the rubber is less flexible and thicker than a conventional road tire. There are some wear marks, but this is not wearing out nearly as fast as a conventional tire would. Tire is not damaging my trainer and besides the weird green color, I could not ask for more out of a tire.

This works quite a bit better than a regular tire for the Kinetic trainer. My regular tire (a Continental Gator skin) squeaks when I accelerate (the tire slips on the roller). This Kinetic tire doesn't slip at all is very quiet. Strongly recommend it for the Kinetic trainer.

After wearing out a couple of regular road tires I decided it was time to get a dedicated trainer tire. I read and researched. I landed on this tire. This tire lasted 5 months, and maybe 400 miles on Zwift with a Saris M2 trainer. The M2 has a yellow knob that tells you when the pressure on the tire is tight enough. I inflated to 100 psi and adjusted the pressure on the trainer every ride. I experienced a blow out 90 minutes into my last ride. I inspected the tire and there was a hole worn clean through the tread and exposing the inner tube. It wasn't a puncture or a blow out from the inside. The tire just wore out. I like to think it was because of the massive watts I regularly generate, but hey, who are we kidding? I agree that it was murder putting it on, but no more difficult than mounting a tubeless tire. My issue is I expected more wear from a dedicated trainer tire, especially for the extra price. I can't say this tire lasted any longer than the much cheaper road tires I was using before. And with the cheapo tires you can still take your bike outside if the occasion arises. Based on my experience I would not buy this tire.

i love this tire, it rolls so very smooth on my smart trainer and is super easy to install. it's constructed of very high quality rubber, and looks pretty cool in neon green, i love the way this tire feels on my trainer, i will definitely buy this again when needed, fairly priced too. worth every penny. if you want to improve your trainer performance without shredding your good road tires, get this.

La llanta para trainer o rodillo es recomendada si realizas mas de 5 hrs a la semana indoor. Requiere una presion de 100 a 120 psi. El ruido que genera es mucho menor a una llanta normal. En definitiva es una buena compra y es la de mejor precio comparada con otras marcas en amazon. Y el color es bastante peculiar

Works well for my gravel bike which fits 700x40c tires. Noise was reduced significantly compared to my gravel bike tire. Easy to install the tire.

Es silenciosa, no se calienta y resultó muy resistente a comparación de otras. No se nota el desgaste con el uso intenso

Actualización 1: A los 100 Km de rodar la llanta delantera falló en una cara lateral y quedó inservible la llanta. Estaba inflada a 110 psi. La llanta trasera sigue en perfectas condiciones.Reseño original:Las probé en rodillo y estas son mis conclusiones1) mi velocidad aumentó 30% con el mismo esfuerzo vs unas llantas de calle2) hacen mucho menos ruido3) se calienta mucho menos la llanta por lo que me hace pensar durará más ( haré una actualización cuando me las acabe )4) sí son un poco más gruesas en su construcción (no en la huella) y cuesta un poco colocarlas pero nada del otro mundo.Mi conclusión es que funcionan mejor que las llantas de calle y cuestan menos, así que ( hasta ahora ) han Sido una gran compra
