Adafruit does it again
Great product, what you'd expect from Adafruit. It is short on pins due to the feather standard pin configuration in comparison to other esp32 boards. But with the addition of an internally only accessible(not exposed to an actual pin) analog on A13 that connects to a voltage divider and then the battery JST. That way you can monitor the battery status via analog.Read(A13). Easy to program with the Arduino IDE and available libraries or utilizing the espressif SDK you you can design your own design infrastructure. Far superior to the esp8266 feathers with 3 times faster CPU and memory not to mention the addition of an additional CPU core you can run intensive threads on core 0 and let the WiFi and main loop remain an core 1 (default Arduino CPU core) for true multitasking. Just finished a battery test that powered the unit via a 2500mAh battery with no power management for 29 hours while sending sensor data for 4 devices via MQTT every 10 seconds, add a little deep sleep and this should be extendable to a month or more depending the frequency of the wake period and the sensors powered. Bought 2 and I'm already ordering 3 more...

More expensive than some others but in this situation it was worth it. WLED controller.
I have picked up a few other ESP32's for different projects but sadly the one that was running my WLED setup just was not working correctly. Not sure what was wrong with the other board but after months of trying to trace down the problem and wrack my brains I decided to swap it out.Once I installed WLED on this board and set a few parameters I swapped it out with the old ESP32 I had and things just plain worked where previously it would hang over and over again with the same setup this one just chugs along. I have it controlling 1240 RGB addressable LED's (WS2812B's) that are wrapped around my front porch. I use HomeAssistant running on an Odroid N2+ to control the WLED install and it so far has not had ANY issues at all over the last couple of months. If you are doing a large addressable LED install or have had issues with stability using another ESP32 I recommend biting the bullet and grabbing one of these ones instead of constantly dealing with issues.

I bought two in separate orders. I think was both defective. The IDE does not connect. The red LED blinks 5 times and pauses all the time. Be shure you use the right usb cable. Data no power only

Great little board to get your projects running in a snap
I've always been a suckered for the ESP32 boards and Afafruit made this board a while lot easier to interface with other feather boards plus a battery hookup. Love these boards and used them on dozen of projects

Powerful little chip!
Loved using this to help run my WLED setup controlling my interior lighting in my car. Very happy with this and will be using the same board for my headlight project coming up.

Good for projects
BE WARNED! The battery female on this may have a different polarity than typical hobby grade lipo plugs of the same type!! Check before you plug it in!! Almost fried mine doing exactly that.Otherwise, board works great, able to control 12+ servos and power them too. Responds quickly and both wifi and bluetooth are handy.

These boards are defective.
I couldn't get the board(s) to connect chased drivers and USB ports for 8 hours to find both (2) boards have dead chips in them. They make a sound like they are plugged in but there is nothing there and no way to get to a root hub or controller in USB ports.

Very delicate
Very delicate when compared to NodeMCU 8266. I already let the smoke out of two of them. Now that was expensive
