So something to consider:This is only 55 watts on DC and 65 watts on AC. To cook in the car you want something higher wattage. This is perfect for hotels and offices.You want to cook a small batch of food at a time. With too much food they cook for too long which means overcooked. So it's like 15 minutes for a quarter pound ground beef. It fits a 1/6 hotel pan which is what I use, and I don't use the 1/4 hotel pan although it also fits because it means too much food.Contrary to what the picture shows, I don't carry my food in the thing. I just keep it in my office. It's just a heating device, and my food are in my glass container in the fridge before they are cooked in this hotel pan.Other points:- Requires attention. Otherwise, it gets too hot. Like for comparison an oven doesn't require attention which I keep in my car.- AC and DC can be plugged in at the same time but probably not safe.- Bag stands and is not very soft.- The surface of the heating plate is metal and is very nice.- The seller should consider a combo with the hotel pan. It's the best. You can ship two things together and it saves space.- Not tested on 24V. I assume it's higher wattage? Also the initial wattage when it's cold is low.

Good product just neee to make sure you don't leave it to long or good will burn.

The media could not be loaded. I love this product! Works great for anyone living life on the road...especially trackers who don't have an inverter in their truck! I do precooked all food before leaving for the week, but works great to reheat. You can even toast bread using aluminum foil. I bought a small aluminum pan that fits perfectly into the lunchbox and is able to zip close while heating. I line that pan with a crock-pot liner and 1hr later meal is ready to eat as if it was just cooked on the stove! DO NOT COOK/REHEAT ANYTHING FOR LONGER THAN 1HR & 30MINS IF YOU ARE USING THIS MOBILY MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO PRODUCT.

A simple go to for a meal time warmup. Try it you'll see.
