An OKAY battery!
This is probably going to be the most honest review of this product. I knew that for this price this battery would not be as good as an Apple original battery which is fine. In terms of installation it was quite simple, however attaching the connector can be fiddly as there is not much space to be able to align and push in the connector, however it can take a few minutes to get it to line up properly. In terms of the battery life I do get around 4-5 hours with light use, such as using the internet and editing word documents. The key difference with this battery i have noticed is the charging time. It takes significantly longer, and I would say that if you are using the laptop then it will take about 3 hours of charge time to full charge the battery. If the laptop is asleep and not in use then it will be quicker, and maybe take 2 hours of charge time/It loses about 10% of battery charge overnight, so the retaining of battery is again okay. Overall an average battery, it will definitely increase your battery life but the cons are - fiddly installation, definitely an increase in charge time, and it doesnt work perfectly with macOSx ability to tell how much time left for your laptop to charge and how much charge remaining - ive found its not 100% accurate.Hope its a useful review!

So far, so good! (mid-2009 MBP)
I own a mid-2009 MBP 15", which despite undergoing only light use required a new disc drive and hard drive within a few months of each other a few years ago. At this time (2012 maybe?) the original battery was already saying "service battery", however since I had just paid out £300 or so for new hardware I put it off. I eventually returned Apple in the summer of 2016 to have a replacement only to be told my Mac was obsolete they would not fit a new battery... my battery was only at around 700 cycles and a full charge was lasting only 2 - 3 hours internet browsing/MS Office use.I purchased this Floureon battery having seen very mixed reviews, but given that the viable alternative was replacing my Mac at extortionate cost... for £45.99 (apparently down from £140.99) for a third party battery seemed like a reasonable option.Delivery was prompt - I wasn't sure it would be the correct battery given that I was buying it only based on it saying it fitted mid-2009 MBP as running system report on my machine and looking at the battery specs did not seem to show me any of the codes/model numbers in this item description, but it fitted and connected with no problems. Booted my machine up to find it already at 42%, so plugged it in and found initially it was charging very slowly - tooth an hour to increased to 65% and was estimating a further 5 hours to full charge. I found this confusing and turned my machine off to speed up the charge, only to see the indicator on the MagSafe connector turn green indicating it was NOT charging. Turned back on and was then at 100%? Bit odd, but I've unplugged it and have now been using it for 2 hours and it's still at 78% which is MUCH better than previous performance, and from reading previous reviews I expect it to take a few charge cycles before being at its optimum. To conclude, so far so good! I hope to be able to take it with me to lectures without needing to take a charger. Hopefully it will prove an economical way to prolong the life of an otherwise great machine that Apple have decided isn't worth their time fixing.

Easy to install with clear instructions
Easy to install with clear instructions. However, the battery started to swell after a bit after about eight months, and after I left my macbook off and unplugged from the mains for about a week I came back to a dangerously swollen battery, as per the attached photo. The laptop was under the same workload as the original Apple battery which lasted 4+ years.

Very impressed!
Installed it yesterday, really easy with the high quality tools supplied. If you have a plastic spudger it helps to remove the old power cable, this is not included though. The battery was 70% charged when I put it in, which lasted about 3 or 4 hours in my old Mid 2009 dual 2.8ghz machine. The laptop immediately recognised it and the "service battery" warning I've had for the last year or so (!) immediately vanished.I let it run down to around 5% without any sudden laptop turning off incidents, then it charged quickly and without problem.I bought the 77Wh version and I have a feeling it is an improvement over life of the Apple battery when I first got the laptop. Admittedly I did not have it from new, but got it early 2010 so only about 6 months old.

Perfect product - Better than apple!
When the product came it was quite obvious that it was going to be quality, from opening the package you can tell the battery inside is protected well utilizing foam padding. The product itself comes with 3 tools, a Tri-wing, a T6 and a regular Phillips screwdriver, more than enough to replace the battery.Upon installation, plugged in the mag safe adapter and proceeded to boot up. Looking at the mAH on the battery, it was 7301, well over the described amount. Once charged, tested using web browsing and Skype calling, easily received over 6 hours of use.Very happy with the product, came as described and is arguably much better than alternatives out there.

Perfect! I bought this
Perfect! I bought this, much cheaper than I expected. Installing was easy. I just watched a tutorial on youtibe to be safe but it was very easy. They even provide the screwdrivers which was very handy. Until now, My macbook (mid 2009 15") needed to be plugged in to use. The battery, after all these years, didn't last 15 minutes. I powered it on and it was at 71%. It's been left on 3 hours (no apps running) and now I'm using it with 54% (3:43 remaining). Great product.

Bought 2 years ago and still works. I'm a heavy laptop user too so buy with confidence if you can't afford the apple version, but I mean electrons move all the same no matter who makes the battery.
