I was surprised and pleased to find this thing work for cleaning one of my favorite caps. It is easy to assemble. I put the hat in the device and then into the dishwasher. Voila! My hat came out clean. It took a couple of days to dry thoroughly but, when it did, the hat held its shape and was clean as new. Can't go wrong... simple, effective and inexpensive. It checks all the boxes.

Started using this in the dishwasher about a month ago and I love the um results. It’s super easy to use, fits nice in the dishwasher and performs well. my husband always has sweat stains around the bottom of his hats and this is worth the money to make sure I don’t destroy them in the washer.

It works great and washes all the caps and they keep their shape

We get sweat marks on our hats. We washed them in past but loose shape. This tool was easy to use. We put in wash machine and it came out beautiful!! We wanted to try another hat, but it was a fitted hat and that didn't work the best.

Ive been putting off buying one of these for a couple decades. my hats are pretty important to me and instead of attempting to clean them amd lose shape? ive just thrown them out and bought new ones. I decided to try one out. I dont know if my head is too big at 7 5/8 but there doesnt seem to be a way to avoud the wrinkled back, and i generally wear my hats backwards. also? this white streak that corresponds with the front right shaping bar doesnt seem to come out (like it should if its detergent residue) so i will wait until its totally dry to see if i can scrub it out. if anyone has any tips? id love to hear em!

Keeps the shape of your hat and cleans it up so nicely. Used in the washing machine. Definitely recommend!

My favorite cap was covered in crud from work, and sweat had soaked into it...but I hesitated to throw it in the wash because I didn't want it to get all wrinkled... so this product fixed that. Easy to use...threw it in the wash and out came my cap almost clean as new...except for the grease spots...but that ain't coming out ever... the hat maintained its shape though. Thats all that matters.

4/5 stars because one of the little plastic bits was broken off when it arrived. (instead of all of the little white "legs" snapping to the base, one of them is sticking out, because there's no locking clip). It still works, even with the broken part. I put my hat in there and put some laundry detergent in the dishwasher and let the hat air dry and I'm wearing it today. It smells a lot nicer now haha. I will definitely keep the hat shaper protector thing around because I know I'll have to wash my hat again soon.DO NOT PUT IT IN THE LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE IT WILL DESTROY THE PRODUCT. IT MUST GO IN THE DISHWASHER!!!(I put mine in the dishwasher, by itself, no dishes of course, and it worked! It's clean now. I let the hat air dry under my ceiling fan and the next day it was ready to wear)

I have been wanting to wash caps for a couple of years now and didn't know how to do it. I ordered this Cap Cage and have used it for about 6 caps so far. I put the cap in the cage, throw it in the laundry with my clothes and dry in on a rack. It has been great. The cage keeps the shape of the cap and I know that they are now clean. I am very happy with this cage and it is exactly what I wanted.

Finally bought one and glad I did. So much easier to clean hats. They keep their shape and come clean
