Saw this on Instagram as good for dry cracked skin. Not sure if it available on UK high street but found it on Amazon. Reasonable price for the size. 7,Oz Rich emollient 41% petroleum but absorbs well with little stickiness. Good for feet. Hands elbows. Can be used on babies. Preservative and fragrance free. Dermatologist recommended.

A basic wonder ointment !
A wonder ointment It heals and causes a protective barrier to allow it to work My husbands fingers had deep cuts ( a bit like paper cuts but deeper) brought about by gardening and nothing seemed to help them heal as his hands were so dry Using this ointment especially before going to sleep has softened the hands and helped them heal ( he was very sceptical ) It has a multitude of uses and is now a staple in our can’t do without it drawer It has also healed dry skin due to sun damage on his forehead again as nothing has seemed to work Sometimes going back to basic is the way to go

Aquaphor Ointment
Magic healing ointment prescribed by dermatologists. I used to think it was just fancy Vaseline, but it has Chamomile and other natural nonirritating ingredients that feed the skin. Great product, and worth the extra cost. Especially good for cryogenic liquid nitrogen treatments by dermatology on precancerous lesions aftercare and surgical incisions. Soothing and not irritating. Wonderful product. Nothing like Vaseline.
