Final Fantasy XIV: Eorzea Academy

Delightful!
Honestly, I'd really like to see more of this manga and/or the concept of this reality being an alt timeline / shard. This manga offers fun little peeks inside the personalities of our favorite characters. While it is centered on Alisae, Alphinaud, Zenos, G'raha, and Estinien, there are tons of other appearances in the manga from Magnai to Lamitt. It gives the whole story a pleasing slice of life ambience that's all around enjoyable. I highly recommend it. This manga is friendly to any content-level as there aren't really spoilers inside. While those who have played through at least Shadowbringers will enjoy the content most, I think it's a worthwhile read for newbies and seasoned XIV vets alike.

A new chapter for the FF14 crew!
I absolutely was charmed by this manga series. I love FF14, and so when I saw my favorite characters in a new story, I had to pick it up.The story focuses on Alphinaud and his sister Alisaie, and their adventures at the Eorzea Academy. The academy is split between the students of Light and Darkness, and without giving too much away…the plot centers around uniting these very different (or not-so-different) students. It was enjoyable and fast-paced. I hope to see more volumes of the manga in the future.

Well told "What if" side story
Book was in perfect condition on arriving. The story is a fun what-if scenario that stays true to the characters as portrayed in FF XIV's story while also giving them latitude to be unique in the setting. It does tell a tale that is much lower stakes, but this lets the cast explore their natures differently and without the world ending threats and political intrigue looming constantly over them all. It lets each character have fun in new ways with all new stories to tell that still has Easter eggs fans will pick up on from the game, and I hope there are future installments.

Very well done
I’ve been a big FFXIV fan for about a year now and when I saw this concept made by a fan I was in love and followed it a lot. Then I saw that it was going to be made into an actual manga book and I leapt at the chance and preordered it! It’s very well done and as such great artwork!

FFXIV if it was a sluce of life!
Really good story and light hearted! Tired of slicing Despair in the outer space or tired of talking to Wuk Lamat! Read this and relax!

Very funny, art is super cute too!
Goofy, light hearted and packed full of references to in-game moments. The characters are fairly well written and not too dissimilar from their usual selves, just a bit over the top and placed in nonsensical scenarios.Almost everyone of note is in here somehow which is really nice to see some dead or forgotten NPCs living their best life! My sweet little sun also eats dirt which I am always gonna be here for.Alphinaud and Alisae star with the Scions, (And Emet-Selch), acting as teachers as heroes, villains and townsfolk alike haunt the halls of this silly academy comedy/drama.

Une histoire cute
Ça ne réinvente pas la roue, mais l'histoire est cute et met en scène les personnages qu'on aime bien dans un contexte scolaire. Le livre est de bonne facture et les illustrations sont jolies.

Slice-of-life school comedy involving the FFXIV cast makes for fun, casual reading
FFXIV Eorzea Academy is an amusing 7 chapter manga that is basically a FFXIV fan-fiction of the cast of characters going through a 'slice-of-life' school drama. If you are expecting a light, easy going manga full of fan-pleasing moments - then this is made for youWhile there are no 'spoilers' as such for events within the main game, this is absolutely a manga made for fans who know/love the characters and their relationships.A surprisingly wide variety of characters crop up through the simple story of two rival school groups (the class of light - made up of the heroes of FFXIV) and the class of dark - made up of the villains) as they compete in a series of school games/events (to put it basically).Emet-Selch snapping his fingers dramatically? Check. Ryne and Gaia being cute? Check. Magnai longing for his nhaama? Yup, you've got it.The comedy is fun, and its a great laugh to see the character personalities coming across throughout the manga (Zenos and Emet-Selch in particularly). Alisaie and Alphinaud make for amusing protagonists and if you've been invested in the world of FFXIV for many years, you'll enjoy this portrayal of them and the rest of the cast. Treat this manga as just a bit of fun, and you will be well-rewarded with some good laughs and a fun/cute side to most characters (even Asahi, gosh).Recommended for any manga readers/lovers of FFXIV who want something new for their collection.
