Nordic Track Elite 4000 Treadmill

This is a great treadmill and one I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a robust better than average treadmill with lots of features. To be honest the Television is a bit redundant as it's very difficult to watch when running on the treadmill. A much better idea would be a TV mounted on a wall several feet away. The treadmill features single button presses for different speeds which is fine but when I first started using it I needed to do about 7K fast walking pace but there is no 7k button so I would have to go higher or lower and then use the + or - to adjust. This is true for other speeds as well so take this into consideration when considering your purchase. This is a minor drawback in an otherwise excellent product. Although it was advertised as having 12 month IFIT membership, mine came with no information/voucher or code to access this. It took me several phone calls to get an access code and I was passed back and forth between Nordic and the Fitness Superstore. Amazon were very good and followed it up successfully on my behalf, so well done Amazon! Now for the not so good bit. This is a very big piece of kit and it came in a single very large carton with a wooden palette. I was expecting a sophisticated courier delivery from a reputable company but it arrived on an old lorry with a well known high street store logo on it ( not the courier company logo). The two men delivering it only had a small 'sack truck' and the lorry had no lift. They struggled to get it off the lorry and at one point it it was the wrong way up ( wooden palette at the top). Although Amazon claimed it would be delivered to "any downstairs room" the men delivering flatly refused to take it beyond the front hall ( it weighed about 145kg). I was left with the whole carton completely filling the front hall and it took me a whole day to open it and move each component to the proper location. Assembly was however straight forward and by the next day it was ready to use. So carefully check what and where Amazon say they will deliver. It is also worth noting that the box is very big so check your door dimensions. I would imagine that delivery to an upstairs room would be very difficult so check what the delivery service is promising prior to purchase. Another problem I had was that although Amazon claimed the item was "in stock" followed by an email to say that it had been dispatched, the supplier rang me to say it was "out of stock" ( even though it was even "in stock" on their own separate web site!) when I explained that Amazon had told me it had been dispatched they said that one should not believe " in stock" indications or even "it's on it's way" emails as these were often inaccurate. This was very annoying given the high value of the item and the fact that I had been staying in to receive the delivery. Once again Amazon were very good once I got in touch with them - they apologised and set about sourcing me the item from somewhere else. So in a nutshell an excellent product but beware delivery arrangement. - if at all possible contact them and get it all in writing or at least agreed in advance.

I bought this item and get delivered without TV srew.They came to assemble it and said that they will come back with the screw.No one didnt call me since that day and I am using it without TV.I am not happy because I chose it because of the TV .
