My son absolutely loves these books! Tom Fletcher is a wonderful children’s author. Hoping he continues to put out more kid friendly novels.

Fletcher hat ein unglaubliches Talent dafür, lebendige und liebenswerte Charaktere zu erschaffen, die einem sofort ans Herz wachsen. Die Geschichte ist spannend und voller unerwarteter Wendungen, die mich ständig zum Weiterlesen animierten.Besonders beeindruckend ist, wie Fletcher es schafft, komplexe Themen wie Zusammenhalt und Mut auf eine Weise zu vermitteln, die sowohl junge als auch ältere Leser anspricht. Die Illustrationen sind atemberaubend und ergänzen die Geschichte perfekt, sodass man sich wirklich wie ein Teil der Space Band fühlt.Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die auf der Suche nach einem Buch sind, das sowohl unterhält als auch inspiriert. We have been fans of Tom Fletcher for a while and this book has captured my son’s attention.The music playlist adds to it and all books should do this.

Love the fact there's an album to go with this book. Frustrating most of the songs are front loaded, but it's really a cool feature that brought a new element to our reading.A nightly read with my 5 year old, we both couldn't wait to see what would happen next, some really great characters we fell in love with included some nods for the grown ups to Tom's McFly career ("Star Girl" for example).This is a really simple story to follow without playing down. It's got exciting twists and turns and we loved it. It's sparked a while swathe of TF book purchases, the addition of "The Creakers" at the back was good to lead onto that book, just be warned if you don't have a copy to hand it does lead to a cliffhanger young ones might not like.Chapters were a bit long to do one a night, but we found plenty of places to take a break and pick up with ease the following day. Well done Mr. F! Hopefully you get credit due soon in form of one of those films they put on TV over Christmas!!

Great book. Kept my 9 year old daughter engaged and she didn't want to put it down.
