Simply the best …
I've been using this brand of Tea Tree Oil since the early-'80s -- and for good reason. It's 100% pure - it's in an amber bottle (tea tree oil is light sensitive - light ruins its medicinal properties) and it's just great for all kinds of uses. For me, I get a slight infection when food gets stuck between my tooth and gums - and I can't always get it out immediately if I don't have a dental pick handy. So, I put this on it … and, similar to Oregano Oil for that use - it helps ease the pain. I also use it on open wounds and other things …UPDATED May 31, 2021 …In some reviews, folks have expressed skepticism about the active ingredients in TTO … specifically the values for the Terpinen-4-ol.Well, after reading those reviews and making my own purchase a couple of days ago, I wrote to Thursday Plantation and asked questions about that issue. Here is the important portion of their reply that just arrived in my E-mail box a few minutes ago:"Our Tea Tree Oil exceeds Australian and International minimum standards for Terpinen-4-ol and contains lower levels of para-cymene and 1,8 cineole to help minimise the risk of potential skin sensitisation.Every Thursday Plantation product is subject to rigorous quality assurance and manufacturing standards, resulting in high quality, pharmaceutical grade oils. Please find below release limits for our Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil.Terpinen-4-ol - 36 to 48%1,8-cineole - NMT 4.0%p-cymene - NMT 4.0%"

This is the only tea tree oil I get and it works great. Some complain about the smell, but it doesn’t bother me one bit

Helped my acne and dermatitis
I have acne prone skin and I have adult acne which mostly occurs on my cheeks and sometimes along my jaw and chin. I had a long skin care routine and would apply different products to my skin which supposedly would help with acne, scars, and whatnot. I've used organic coconut oil, then replaced that with 100% jojoba oil as a moisturizer and was using 99% aloe vera and a topical cream for acne. I rarely get acne on my forehead, but I woke up one morning and saw a bunch of little red bumps all over my face! I went to see my dermatologist who said I got some type of dermatitis (I forgot what he called it) because I was using too much products on my face, so he prescribed a cream for me. I never used the cream he prescribed because my pharmacy didn't have it in stock and said it would be ready in about 3 days. So my sister told me to try this tea tree oil which is an antiseptic in place of the cream my doctor prescribed. I add a few drops into my face wash and it gives a minty feel after I rinse. It helped greatly in clearing up the little red bumps that appeared. (I also have just been using Cetaphil oil control moisturizer SPF 30 after I wash my face (night and day) and a spot treatment for acne at night.)

It is not labeled anymore Minimum 36% Terpinen-4-ol, Do Not Buy buy this product.
First- Be careful when buying Tea Tree Oil. Tea Tree Oil is available commercially in a range of grades. It is worthwhile to use the best quality oil you can find. Very often, you get what you pay for. Make sure to find out what kind of Tea Tree Oil you are getting. You want to look at the Cineole and Terpinen-4-ol numbers.Cineole: The lower the number the better. Tree oils with high cineole content are thought to be of poor quality and more likely to cause skin irritation.Terpinen-4-ol: The higher the number the better. Terpinen-4-ol appears responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity of tea tree oil.Australian standard for Tea Tree Oil (AS2782-1985) requires a maximum cineol content of 15% and a minimum terpinen-4-ol of 30%.Categories of Tea Tree Oil: Cineole / Terpinen-4-ol Concentrations:•Pharmaceutical Grade: 3% or less Cineole; 37% or more Terpinen-4-ol• Cosmetic Grade: 5% or less Cineole; 35% or more Terpinen-4-ol• Technical Grade: 10% or less Cineole; 30% or more Terpinen-4-olMake sure you review the chemical composition of the oil. Tea tree oil is graded by its two main components, terpinen-4-ol and cineole content. Your tea tree oil should be between 30% and 40% terpinen-4-ol and less than 7% cineole content. These two components are related so the higher the terpinen content, the lower the cineole content. A quick way you can tell content is to look for a designation such as “T40 C1.5” or something similar. If the grade isn't disclosed on the bottle you may be ripped off, and your health won't improve.* * * EDITED JULY 12/2018 * **I buy Tea Tree Oil from different supplyers:Last bottle I bought in Amazon was from:Thursday Plantation 100% PUREAustralia's Original. TEA TREE OILANTISEPTICMinimum 36%Terpinen-4-ol1.7 fl oz/50mlEXP MAY2019Now you decline to label the Minimum Terpinen-4-ol % on the bottle. So, I avoid your TTO product. Why:Because fifty percent of Tea Tree Oil (TTO) sold in North America is Fake. 50% of samples, analyzed at southern Cross University using the Chiral Purity test failed the indicators of pure, natural Tea Tree Oil. 100 % of samples from China failed. Most Tea tree Oil (TTO) is produced in Australia and China, and I accept only Australian TTO, since the Chinese oils generally do not conform to the Australian standards, and there is no quality standard for Chinese TTO.The major constituent of TTO is terpinen-4-ol (T-4-ol). Most essential oils contain a single major constituent, and yet the main point of natural medicine is that we don’t isolate “active ingredients” and use them instead of the whole natural product.I do not trust Chinese product because they are master in adulterating (Chinese Honey), and the cheating in TTO is simpler. It can be adulterated with T-4-ol, which is a waste product from factories that ‘correct’ eucalyptus, sandalwood, tarragon, pine, fennel and aniseed oils. They can cheat the other way by diluting with some of the eucalyptus and other oils (including turpentine form the hardware store!).This means that any genuine, natural, unadulterated TTO should be tested conform to the Australian standards.(For anyone who wants to better understand the way a standard can help identify if TTO is genuine there is a document on the ATTIA (Australian Tea Tree Industry Association) website: How ISO & AS Standards help identify fraudulent material.)I avoid any TTO product that fails to disclose the country of origin.I avoid any TTO product that fails to disclose the amount of terpinen-4-ol (T-4-ol) and 1,8-cineole (which is fought to be a skin irritant) in TTO.I avoid any TTO product, which fails to disclose the expiration date.So I’m ordering direct from Australia. The shipping, limits the amount to 10ml bottle, with a shipping fee $20 for 2 x 10ml bottles.Do not buy this product. Do not waste time, money and endanger your health. Go to your primary doctor.
