Great buy. It has definintly meet my expectations
Works Great. boot time is extremely short great amount of ram, &the display is gorgeous. the only negative that I can say about it is That It claimed to not meet system Requirements to be upgraded to Windows 11 even though my last laptop/notebook which has to be at least 3-4yrs+ old was able to be upgraded and other that a few minor issues ran pretty well. anyways it has already given me reasons to be thankful for purchasing it, in fact truthfully several times a day everyday.

I enjoy it
I want to start off by saying Im no computer expert, my boyfriend found this for me so I assume it'll do all I need and be fast enough to keep up. I originally tried to cancel the order after seeing a Q&A stating that this computer doesn't have a webcam, which I need for work at some point but it was already in the process of shipping. I figured I'd just order a camera instead of trying to find a different computer but I was pleasantly surprised to see it does have a webcam! So far I really enjoy this computer, MUCH more than any other laptop I've used. It's small and light and I can sit comfortably with it on my lap. It's super fast, keep in mind I've only used it for classes so far. Hopefully it'll continue to be fast once I have all my work stuff in there. It looks brand new, not a single scratch is on it, the keyboard and mouse are nice and smooth. Over all I really love this computer will actually use it (Usually I get a laptop, hate it and pass it down to the kids).

Doesn't work, right out of the box - EDIT: Replacement works great!
I had problems with this right out of the box. First, as soon as I powered it on, it cycled between the HP logo and a black screen. Logo, black screen. Logo, black screen. Rinse and repeat. Finally, after hitting escape a couple of dozen times, I got into the BIOS.Second, the arrow keys didn't work, but I managed to reset the date and time, and the laptop then booted into Windows. As soon as the setup process finished, I ran Windows updates. Again, even in Windows, the arrow keys didn't work.Third, on the first reboot, the computer hung cycling between the HP logo and a black screen. For four hours. I was finally able to get into the BIOS again. I ran hardware tests on the memory and hard drive, and both passed, but the laptop still wouldn't boot. After trying a number of different options, I was finally able to get it to boot into Windows by selecting the recovery process from the BIOS menu.Fourth, I tried going into Windows Updates again, and the screen went wonky, rapidly cycling through menu options. I hit escape, and it finally stopped. The trackpad also became unresponsive at times. Very frustrating!Fifth, I could see it needed to be restarted again to finish installing updates, so I tried to select restart. Again, the arrow keys wouldn't work. It then went wonky again and cycled rapidly through the power menu options. I hit escape and was able to restart the computer.Sixth, it hung during boot again, cycling through a black screen and the HP logo. Again, I had to get into the BIOS and select the recovery option to get it to boot into Windows. By this time, six hours had elapsed, and I was completely frustrated. I set the laptop back to factory defaults and securely wiped the hard drive. The laptop is once again stuck cycling between a black screen and the HP logo. There is no way this computer went through any quality assurance program as part of the renewal process, so I cannot recommend purchasing one. I get this is a used computer, and I never expected perfect. But I did expect one that would be in good working order. It's a beautiful computer; not even a scratch on it. But it doesn't work!I've contacted the company and asked for a replacement. Hopefully, they will make sure the replacement (if they send me one!) works. I certainly hope I'm not out my money on this purchase! :(EDIT: The company was very helpful and replaced the laptop without any hassle. I received the replacement a week later, and the new one is awesome. No issues at all and is super fast for what I need it to do (household budgeting and finance, surfing the 'Net, etc.). It's nice and small and lightweight and fits in my messenger bag with room to spare. My only complaint is the power cord is not OEM, but rather one of those aftermarket cheesy universal power cords with an adapter. But, it works, so it's not that important. For the money, these are great. Just be aware these are RMA'd and off-lease laptops, so they may have issues.

Great Computer for the Money
Was looking for a computer to perform in use for business/service tech needs and be something I'm already comfortable with. Computer is fast enough to not be a bother and is rather rugged for what it is. Definitely, make my life easier out in the field at a fraction of the price. Would buy again.

IF you get what's advertised would be a good deal
this is 3rd one in 5 weeks...first two I setup but would never reboot on after it started installing updates..this one is slick as a new one, everything is working fine, so I went to take a look at specs and see about efficency, only has 4gb memory, paid for 16gbs, and has 128gb ssd...paid for 256gbs....the two things that could be upgraded, exactly what made this so appealing, simply weren't. Now all 3 came from different sellers, but I deal with Amazon...and am so very frustrated and disappointed. Amazon refunded me on first two...and probably would on this one, 3rd. I'm just sick of fooling with them. Price isn't everything . Not if you don't get what you pay for.

Great Deal
So let me start of by saying this is my first review on any product ever & I am an avid Amazon user! But this laptop definitely deserves some recognition. I have dug deep into finding a laptop for my 13 year old nieces birthday so she can play her favorite sims game. Buying a laptop online is scary, but let me tell you. This laptop is amazing for exactly what my niece wanted. It came in perfect condition and it came THE VERY NEXT DAY. I was shocked at how fast it arrived because I paid for standard shipping on a holiday weekend. I wasn’t expecting it for like a week at least. It was packaged nicely with no cosmetic damage and booted right up. I have not ran into any problems thus far. It’s been a month since my niece has had her new laptop and she’s loves it! Seriously a great deal. I had to give this product some recognition.

Love it! Getting a second one now.
Unbelievable bargain. Easily upgraded with a second drive. Nice size and weight. Use it all the time now. Will retire my 17” HP and move that SSD to the new one. Also hope to upgrade the memory. Hopefully they used 1 8 go chip and room for another.

Condition was as described
I have bought several refurbished computers over the years but this is by far the best. After a close examination I could not find any scratches or marks on it, top, bottom or inside. It was flawless. The Win 10 system booted up in 20 seconds, as expected with an SSD and 8 GB RAM driven by a 2.4 processor. Battery life is better than 4 hours. The last significant find was in the Bios settings. These confirmed the first OS was installed 5/12/2022. $232 for a one-year-old laptop is exceptional. Couldn't be happier.

Saved by the last bell
I did received the laptop 2 weeks after my initial order and came from US. Brown box packaging with bibble protective bag.1st thing I did was to replace the hard drive with mine.A m.2 2280 256GB NVME drive was installed... I replaced it with a 2.5" SSD 500GBIt is possible to install both drive at the same time. (NVME goes horizontally over the 2.5" drive)8 GB memory is installed and have another slot empty2nd thing was to go to the BIOS to change UEFI for LEGACYThis was a challenge as LEGACY was greyed and no way to active it1st time I got such issue as usually LEGACY & UEFI are switchable...I did 3 unsuccessful attempts to boot a legacy partition from my driveI did tried a last time by changing some "fast boot" & "secure boot" optionsIt worked out and booted my drive as intended.Otherwise, it would be already in the box for return !Backlit keyboard was not ON by default, I did ensure it was from now on.Screen is mirror glossy & touch screen (I thought I would receive a anti-glare non-touch one)Resolution goes to 1920x1080 but I'm using 1600x900Colors are perfect (which is often the case with mirror screen compared with anti-glare ones)8x processors at 2.40GHz and do not experience any lagBattery life is only 5½ hours, far from the 10 hours advertised !I intend to get a 840 G3 later to see if any better regarding the battery lifeI'm using Linux UbuntuMATE and all is working fineI did not test most of the connectors yet (SIM, Display Port, Smart Card, SD Card, USB, Ethernet, VGA or dock)SIM is using the MICRO factor, so for a nano it would require an adapterI have NO idea what is a Smart Card reader and which type of card work in this... I would have preferred a ExpressCard to add USB instead...Weight is very light... thin & made of plastic does the trick but also make it very weak if it fall... My other Hp laptops are made of Aluminium, are heavier but can whistand better a fall & also dissipate better the internal heat than plastic ones. For less than $400... that was a deal !
