My Mazda dealer wanted to change my cabin air filter for... Are you ready for this? $79.99!!!I mean, I know the dealer charges more for stuff, but really??Twenty bucks on Amazon for a no-name filter, and five minutes to watch an installation video on the world's most popular video sharing service, plus five minutes for the actual installation process, and all is good.These filters look fine, and they're built to exactly the same dimensions as my car's original filter. I haven't driven the car yet, so I can't say how they will perform, but it's not like it has moving parts. I'm sure it will be fine.

These cabin filters have been great! Fit right in my CX-5s (I have three) and are less than 1/3 the price of buying the OEM Mazda filter.I definitely recommend these.

As the days are becoming warmer, I've been turning on my car's air conditioner more often. I noticed that it wasn't blowing as much cold air as it should be. Having run into this issue before, the first thing that I check is the cabin air filter. A trip to the dealer could cost you $100 for a 5 minute fix. Many people aren't even aware of this filter, its location, or how easy it is to change by yourself. Just search for a YouTube video for your particular car and you will find a step-by-step procedure that is ridiculously easy. The filter is usually accessed through the back of the glove compartment. In the case of my 2022 Mazda 3, there were 4 plastic clips that needed to be released to drop a section of the glove box and the filter was located right behind it. I just needed to squeeze two tabs to release the old filter and pull it out. The amount of dirt that can accumulate in a year's time is appreciable. It was no wonder that there was less than optimal airflow. The new filter snapped in and the glove box reassembled in seconds. I now have a much cooler car for the summer.

This will work for less time and filter less air than a standard one that has thicker fabric and more compact grooves.. it does work. But probably will have to change it must faster than other ones that are higher quality & cost more.
