They work
These bags stop radio waves, so your phone disappears off the global grid. Even when you turn off your phone it usually is not all the way off, and continues to contact the network from time to time. In the past one could take out the battery, but modern phones do not offer that freedom. If you would like for your phone to be quiet, and not to be tracked these are the containers for it. Some people think it is a good idea to be off the grid from time to time just so there is not an expectation that you are always available. Some folks are worried about spyware that continues to contact the network even when you think you turned off the phone. Some journalists and politically active folks worry about this. In any event, these bags are "Faraday cages" and trap electromagnetic energy. Obviously you cannot receive or make calls when the phones are inside. Nor can you get texts nor have it search for WiFi. Low cost and effective, and much better than aluminum foil. (I do not know if aluminum foil hats stop brain waves, but that is another topic. ;-)

Works Well, Just a Little Bulky
These Faraday bags do what they’re supposed to do—block signals effectively and give peace of mind when you want your phone truly offline. Once inside, my phone had no signal, no Bluetooth, no Wi-Fi, which is exactly the point. The only downside is they’re a bit bulkier than expected, so they’re not the most convenient for pockets or small bags. That said, the quality feels solid and they work reliably. Great option if you want privacy and signal blocking without overthinking it.

Works Too Well
These work exceptionally well once you fold the top over and down and utilize the velcro. My Samsung 23 phone with a case just barely fit. Special Note: I didn't think about this when I bought it, but ANY device you have that relies on your phone's Bluetooth will be disconnected. This includes hearing aids, ear buds, FitBit or other fitness watches, etc. I think I will use the spare one to store my credit/debit card and passport in when I travel as they're very durable.

Put my Samsung 24 into the bag and sealed it up with the Velcro and then rang my number with another phone next to it, and it did not allow the Samsung 24 to ring. Does what it was supposed to do.
