Black Magic Plant Food 1L

Very slightly moist when received, it appears to be mostly coir-based possibly with some peat with additions of fibrous material (dried roots or animal hair), a small amount of charcoal or rotted compost, bark and wood chips, granular mineral material and last but by no means least fertiliser pellets, although seemingly rather few. There may be sufficient to start but not once growth starts in earnest. The mixture is claimed to promote strong and vigorous root growth and strong bud development and that was the major reason for the selection.For the past few years, coir mixed with well-rotted plant manure and crushed shell or other such material was used for potting-up of cuttings and a few bulbs, tubers etc with consistent degrees of success year-on-year, but not this year when everything planted out earlier had died almost immediately. No specific reason can be identified but this is being tried as a replacement or remedy. With several soft cuttings just potted-up, its results will not become apparent for several weeks.20 litres is a reasonable size to use as a trial and not overly expensive in the unlikely event that it fails and needs be spread over a lawn or plot. There were several positive reviews with no reported incident of the mixture failing to deliver. If very successful, a larger quantity may next be purchased.

Plants.

Have been growing tomatoes for decades and always used tomato food. Decided to try this as it sounded interesting. Got some of the biggest tomatoes ever this year. Also used on the roses and got loads of blooms. Impressed enough to buy again next year .

Not sure what the item is like but I’m hoping it’s good. The packaging is shocking though and the measuring cap is smashed completely.

First image was taken on 28th June when I purchased a rather sad looking plant at a discounted price. The second image was when I dead-headed and repotted using Black Magic...and then now as you can see I have happy, flowering and flourishing plants! I’ve got a few cuttings growing really fast too. I’ve just ordered another bag! Thank you!

Amazing water retention and showing promising results on all the plants I've reported into this stuff. Truly black magic. My only problem is that it arrived as is unpackaged and had several small holes that the lovely fluffy mix was escaping through se had considerably less than I paid for. Second time I ordered it had a similar issue but luckily lost alot less due to a careful delivery driver.

I have a large collection of houseplants and have been feding them with black magic plant food , the results are fantastic ALL my plants are doing very well would highly recommend this product and i will always use it now and the future .
