Brilliant price, dewalt qualityYes its nicad but so long as you run down batts and fully charge they will last 4 or 5 years (batteries)Was going to repair my old 10 year old dealt drill until i had seen this product, worked out cheaper that parts to repair old drill,Good price, great tool

Amazing power
I expected the newer DeWalt tool would out-perform my old tool, but it still amazed me. It really charged in one hour with a spare battery gave me a continuous working pace. The power last at least three times as long as my old tool. The one-hand releasing and tightening drill/screw bits is very convenient. The anti-locking mechanism to avoid over screwing is very useful. Excellent tool.

Tiene buena potencia. Perfore una placa de 1/4 de pulgada con una broca de 1/2. Coloque unas pijas de 5/16 sin problema. Por su precio ha sido una buena compra. Excelente torque. Estoy satisfecho.

I'm still neutral on this item....I haven't used it that much to judge.Dewalt has several levels of use from home owner to commercial grade.This model of battery is almost obsolete....so look for an up grade with a newer battery style.
