Microplane 70130 Foot File Paddle, Natural

I have a problem where a callous forms in a half-inch spot on the ball of my foot making it painful to walk. I have to go to a podiatrist every six months and pay her $70 to cut it off. I'm trying this gadget to see if regular filing will prevent it. I won't know if it's working for a few months, but this thing shaves off the hard skin where the callous forms.One minor problem. The label leaves sticker goo on the plastic cover that won't rub off and using GooGone screws up the plastic. So, if you can't rub the goo off I guess you just live with it.Edited on 3/5/2016 to add:I haven't been back to the podiatrist since I started using it. In my case it doesn't completely remove the bump (callous) but it reduces it enough it doesn't hurt when I walk.

Works as stated, however, I would purchase the model with the fine sandpaper as well as the scrapper.

This product makes quick work of repairing cracked heels. I love it and gift it often to others.

This is the best foot file I have found. It works well. Easily flakes off callus. Does not go too deep. No pain. Just does a good job. Easy to use.

Holy moly does this thing grate! Watch your fingers and prepare for softer feet.
