I wanted pretty push pins for a specific project and these were perfect.

These lightweight plastic-head push pins are not for thick bunches of paper/ et cetera.Note: Careful on the initial opening of the divided container (taped).They are sharp and can be difficult to remove (use your nails).They do add a subtle sparkle to any bulletin board.

My husband had mixed feelings about these push pins. Yes, they did their job holding up items but my husband said pressing them into the wall really hurt his thumbs. Maybe wearing gloves or using a strong tool while pushing them in would lower (or eliminate) the pain.

I ordered these push pins for my office bulletin board. I wanted something cuter than the typical school push pins. The rounded metallic heads on these add sparkle to the bulletin board and they don’t block space on the papers hung there. Because the heads are so little, they are challenging to take out of the container without pricking yourself. The container comes taped close, and it is hard to see the tape. Be aware of this because it might pop open with enough force and the push pins would go flying everywhere.

The girls like to hang pictures on their walls and are constantly asking me for thumb tacks, tape, or whatever else can help them hang pictures. I wanted to give these a try in hopes they would be less noticeable holes in the walls. They do very well, but require a slow and steady push to get in the drywall. These are small enough where the can see them to remove and change pictures as they often do, and still not get in the way of the picture itself. The design also keeps them in place unlike the thumbtacks. Tasks like making a bed, changing clothes, or whatever includes the passing of an object would snag the thumbtacks and pull them out. These remain in place! I recommend soft surfaces only though. Needle nose and a small hammer trying to get one in the closet door was a failure. The head shattered and broke. However using the needle nose and small hammer to just push in the drywall works well enough where the girls could do it without me. They may require a little more effort, but they are a better option in my opinion.

These are super cheap and bend easy. I would recommend them for light use. Maybe hanging up light photos not heavy papers and such. You do get quite a bit so that’s why I give it 4 stars

These work well with my pin board to hold all of my doodles, ideas, and notes that I need for my sewing business. I also appreciate that they’re more fashionable than a regular old thumbtack. While I wouldn’t pin an entire packet to my board with these, they definitely hold plenty of smaller papers and look aesthetically pleasing in the process.
