Phill Wood Bearing
I purchased my Phil Wood hubs and built up a wheel set about 16 years ago. In the spring of 2011 I decided to replace the bearings (front/back) after about 20+ thousand miles on the wheels. Granted these were club rides, touring rides and various organized rides (century etc.) the wheels always rolled smoothly. However after considering the miles and time I decided to purchase a new set of bearings. I couldn't be happier and I can tell a difference in the ride of the hubs. It's very very very smooth. My declines and subsequent coasts aren't as long as the previous bearings but I think that will change as I break in the bearings. I've ridden about 250 miles so far and am surpassing the break in period. I look forward to many years on these bearings and would highly suggest them to anybody.
