I would personally recommend shopping around for one with a more powerful motor
Before buying this blender, I checked the reviews but I should have checked the power. It's only 300w and is nowhere near powerful enough.Before this I had a 600w blender which served me well for nearly four years before finally burning out. It was able to blend my smoothies with relative ease. This one takes far longer and I have to use far more physical effort myself. I doesn't feel designed to manage an apple, banana and mango smoothie.I would personally recommend shopping around for one with a more powerful motor.

Disappointing
Bit disappointed by this product. Was hoping that as it was Bosch it would be superior to my previous Braun hand blender but it is inferior. It struggles to whizz soup so we are having to eat it much more chunky than usual. I would not recommend this product and can see myself giving in and buying another one in a few months time. It's also annoying that the jug that comes with it doesn't have a lid.
