Q ACOUSTICS Concept 20 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) (Gloss White)

These are a total bargain. Upgraded from a pair of Q Acoustics 3020’s (not the i version) and bought the official Concept stands and my home office has a whole new lease of life. Audio is via a Denon CEOL N9 fed by either an AudioQuest Red or Chord Mojo so source is decent-ish but amplifier is nothing super-audiophile. They’ve taken a bit of time to loosen and are sensitive of the wall but sound just pretty damn good. Lots of warmth, subtlety but always smooth. Perhaps could do with a bit more "excitement" but I’m picking small holes. For this price you can’t go wrong.UPDATE: 3 months on and I'm still loving listening to these. My main audio downstairs is an Audiolab 6000n streamer, Naim Nait 5Si amp and Wharfedale Evo 4.4 speakers (about £3k worth). A different sound with more scale, detail and nuance (+ bass!) but the Denon/Q Acoustics combo is still a beautiful listen. Gives me pleasure everyday when I'm working. Slap on a bit of Radio Paradise and I'm done.

I was on the look out for some new speakers after owning Q Acoustics 3010 speakers since 2017. I was looking at the 3020i model as well as these Concept 20s. I'm very happy with the Concept 20s, they sound great and are a nice upgrade on my old 3010s. I have the bass and treble on max on my amplifier a lot of the time and these speakers respond to this and sound great. One little quibble is although they were nicely wrapped and packed, there is a scratch on the front top of one of the speakers, but with the grill on the front it doesn't show.

I’d read the reviews, seen the awards, and was expecting good things from these speakers. But I know me well enough to know that I’d still spend days toeing them in and out and messing with them to “tweak” the sound. No such thing.... From being connected, they sounded fantastic. The soundstage that opens from them is simply mind blowing. I’ve never really “heard” the venue in which the music is recorded before but the size of the recording room / concert hall / theatre is just projected out, with instruments placed across the soundstage.As other reviews, they are not the bassiest speakers, but what is there is tight and well defined.Love them. I’ve had lots, but these are my favourite speakers to date by far.

Compact size means fits smaller rooms. Quality reasonable for the price.

I'm a fussy audiophile and when looking for speakers, always hunting for the usual names like Tannoy, JBL etc. A friend recommended this brand (he writes for hifi magazines). I was not disappointed. Coupled up to a Cambridge Audio network amp, these sound great. So good, I will get round to hooking them up to my Arcam in the lounge to see how good they really are. For the price, outstanding value for money and cope well in an acoustically lively room (kitchen with tiled floors).

One of the best transducers I've ever heard. Hardly listen to my headphones ( Sennheiser HD600, Grado etc) as these sound so detailed and perfectly balanced at low listening levels. Nothing but these needed for a smaller room. They were the best speakers for under £1000 when launched at £400 or so. At the current price they are possibly the best value audiphilliac purchases you can make

Absolutely fantastic sound! Just don't place these too near a wall as this makes the bass boomy. I bought the optional stands which enhance the bass and midrange to a very realistic level of sound. CDs, of course, are the best source of digital hi-fi material and I have had to listen to all my CDs again as I hear little gems of vocal and percussion sound that I never even noticed before! (A CD sounds 3X sharper than an MP3 track). No regrets in buying these (award winning) speakers!

Small but enough weight and lots of quality in the sound. A huge upgrade from an older simple hi-fi. After a few weeks I hear something through these that really makes me notice their quality and I know it was a good decision to get these

Prima di acquistare questi diffusori ero alla ricerca di altri modelli dal costo nettamente superiore, poi girando per vari forum di HiFi, li ho scoperti e mi sono ricordato che avevo già posseduto un prodotto di questa marca, un subwoofer che avevo comprato quasi per gioco, basandomi solo su qualche recensione veloce, non ricordo il modello ma lo ricordo sempre con piacere perché costruito veramente bene e suonava altrettanto bene!Il discorso si ripete con questi diffusori, ma su di un livello superiore, se penso al prezzo quasi non posso crederci ma la realtà è questa, quando un progetto viene studiato bene per noi appassionati di alta fedeltà ma anche per noi consumatori, viene fuori il prodotto che ti lascia a bocca aperta, quel prodotto che ti fa solo gioire ed essere pienamente soddisfatto, non penserai mai a quanti soldi hai dovuto investire o meglio, ci penserai ma con un sorriso!Sono precisi, analitici, molto trasparenti e con buonissima dinamica, i bassi sono secchi, precisi e sempre con una grande leggibilità! (Consiglio i tappeti posti sui reflex posteriori per avere una risposta in basso bella precisa in ogni condizione di volume) certo non scendono a 30hz ma i 60hz dichiarati ci sono tutti e anche di più! Consiglio un buon sub per completare le frequenze più basse.I medi, una goduria, di una naturalezza incredibile in rapporto a questi costi, le alte fanno il loro dovere molto bene, il minimo dettaglio c’è!Il palcoscenico è naturale direi, non esagerato ma gli strumenti sono focalizzati molto bene!Diffusori che potrei paragonare anche con altri dal valore anche triplo senza problemi!Il mio impianto è così composto.Due finali Audiolab 8300mb.Dac/pre RME ADI 2 dac.Lettore CD Cambridge Audio CX.Diffusori Q ACUSTICS Concept 20.Cavi alimentazione e segnale Audioqest.PsConsiglio vivamente anche i loro stand dedicati

Los tengo en unos soportes caseros pero de calidad. Los suyos me parecen caros a pesar de que les califiquen como indispensables. Compré los altavoces con una sustancial rebaja debido a un defecto externo. De otra manera 750e todo es como para pensárselo.De todas formas sonido cristalino, con todas las frecuencias muy bien integradas y sin embargo con detalle y separación de instrumentos, sin llegar a ser analíticos. Por el contrario son muy agradables de escuchar, muy naturales. La imagen estéreo es excelente y el sonido tiene un cuerpo impropio de un altavoz de ese tamaño. Para una habitación normal son perfectos. tengo unos de 6.5" que bajan más pero empiezan a dar problemas de rebote de graves con lo cual ...además el grave que dan es de gran calidad. Zona media buena o muy buena y agudos de lujo aunque quizás pierdan un poco en las frecuencias más altas (y menos musicales, ya casi inaudibles para el común de los mortales) tienen un nivel de detalle de 10. Parece que eso del gelcore funciona-Me da la sensación de que para mejorar este sonido apreciablemente tienes que gastarte el doble o el triple de dinero.En cuanto a la estética, pues fotos y tu mismo. El acabado de la laca es muy bueno, aunque la rejilla de protección bien podía ser mejor o al menos blanca (para altavoz blanco). El armazón, más allá del gelcore se siente sólido como una roca.Seguramente habrá altavoces muy buenos en este nivel de precios pero no muchos. Me inclino a pensar que hay muchos más caros que no les alcanzan.

Ich bin keiner, der zig verschiedene Sachen ausprobiert - ich habe ein paar Tage im Netz recherchiert - und habe (danke an Amazon Warehouse :-) ) kurzerhand zugegriffen.Es gibt ein kleineres Model (Q Acoustics 2020i) die deutlich günstiger zu haben sind. Und ich bin überzeugt, das auch diese Boxen toll spielen.Wer von Standart-Billig Tröten kommt, für den ist das Niveau der Q Acoustics Concept 20 eine Offenbarung.Die Lautsprecher hängen an einer kleinen Anlage (Marantz CR510) die keine größen Veränderungen im Sound zulässt. ("Equilizer" hat nur Bass und Höhen)Weiteren Rezessionen zufolge, brauchen diese Boxen eine richtige Grundlage - ein vernünftiger AV-Receiver ist wohl eher in der Lage, um die Brillianz aus diesen Boxen herauszukitzeln.Was mir fehlt, ist ein wenig "Bumms" - dies wird bald durch einen Subwoofer korrigiert.Dennoch - Lautsprecher kauft man i.d.R. nur einmal alle Jubeljahre - und es lohnt sich, auf Qualität zu setzten.Passend dazu gibt es Lautsprecherständer - speziell für die Concept 20 !! - Mir fehlt der Platz, um diese aufzustellen.Die Verarbeitung der Boxen ist erstklassig. Nichts wackelt, knarzt oder knurrt. (Was m.E. in dieser Preisklasse selbstverständlich sein sollte)Lautsprecherkabel gehören nicht zum Lieferumfang.Ungewöhnlich in dieser Preisklasse ist (ok, habe ich mir sagen lassen) das die Boxen bi-wiring ermöglichen. D.h. das man die Höhen und den Bass jeweils mit einem eigenen Verstärker ansteuern kann...Wenn ich irgendwann meinen Wunsch-AV-Receiver habe - werde ich meine Rezension ergängen.Alles in allem - ich bin happy und von mir gibt es 5 Sterne
