This copper wire is just what I needed. Bends easy not hurting my hands. It's soft but tough enough to hold the shape I put it in. The price is affordable and as far as I can tell it is true to size. When cut it's copper all the way through which is good since thats how it's advertised.

I have an electric fence around my pond and wanted to replace some lighter-duty wire with this gauge. It is quite pliable but sturdy and works exceptionally well for electric fencing.

Exactly as described. The size, thickness and weight was correct. It was packed very well which will help it to fit in my toolbox. There weren’t no kinks or unusual bending in the copper. I would highly recommend it.

Weight is 15 ounces, not a pound and that included the spool. Not going to unwind to find true weight. Still a good price.

Made a 720+ degree ring out of it (slightly more than two wraps around my ring finger). That was a little bulky so I repeated that with a 14 gauge (which is thinner) wire.

I use these for jewelry making, and do a fine job soldering.

So, this came yesterday and while it might be 1 pound of copper wire (haven't weighted it yet but am not actually so concerned with the overall weight), note that it says 8 Gauge/3.25mm. I measured with callipers at 3.25mm, which is 10 gauge, not 8. I was expecting 8 gauge proper (4.1mm) but I didn't pay enough attention to the discrepancy in the description so that one's on me. When I measured the length of the wire I received, it was about 21' (nice to have more than the 19.5' advertised). Also nice that it came wrapped in cling wrap to prevent oxidizing. Edit: Upon further research, maybe I just don't understand the gauge to mm conversion. Some charts for different materials list 8 gauge as 3.26mm, which would be pretty much right on for this. I might have judged too harshly? Anyway, the product is good. I'll up my start rating to 5 from 4.
