A really sturdy bed at a great price, with no weight restrictions!
I wanted a really sturdy bed as many had low weight limitations. I fortunately found this one, it's a really strong bed at a great price. The instructions were easy to read and my son put it together in an hour. Only solid wood used plus fixings. Quick delivery. Highly recommended!

Affordable and solid option
Quick delivery and came in great condition. Directions are not exactly well-written, but anyone who has assembled furniture before can figure it out. Make sure to bore out some of the holes first of any remaining chips or it will be a pain. If anything, over-engineered and very sturdy for such a small frame. Could be made easier to put together with just a couple more predrilled holes for the slats and extra supports.

Sturdy and good value. Poor instructions.
The bed is ok, simple and sturdy. The instructions however are a disgrace, too many different models on one sheet and more fixings provided than you actually need. Seems you get sent a bag of bits to suit different models which is wasteful.

Holds nowhere near its upper weight limit.
Being a large person, i was immediately drawn to the promise of a larger load capacity. I am nowhere near as heavy as maximum advised weight on this item, so thought this would be perfect. Relatively easy to assemble, but quality of materials is not as expected. Slats were slighlty differing lengths and didnt fit together well. Some would butt against each other, while some would have a 5 or 6 mm gap between them. I moved the slats so they fitted as well as they could but still put quite a bit of tension thru the centre. It creaked and cracked when used for the first time but thought this was natural and held weight ok. Quiet good for the first few weeks. However about week 4 was laying in bed and felt a definite sag in middle. The centre support had worked loose. No problem, popped to hardware store and got better woodscrews. A few weeks later a slat snapped. Bit of remedial work and it was fine. However, every few weeks i would notice little crack that compromise the integrity and strength of the item. This came to a head, when sitting on the end of the bed getting ready for work, I heard a crack and fell through the middle. I pulled the mattress to had a look at the damage and the middle with the slats on it and snapped. I repaired it and tried to make good on all the other defects but everytime i tried to screw into it the wood would crack. The final straw came today when while sitting at the end of the bed again THE FRAME SNAPPED. To say im unimpressed would be quite an understatement. Like i said im a bigger gent, but sleeping in it on my own and nowhere near the upper limit of what it can hold. I would recommend against buying this bed if you are a bit bigger that average.

very sturdy, well made bed
Bought this bed for my adult son. Easy to put together, very sturdy, think it's good value for money. Has good space underneath for storage - handy if room space is limited or you have a lot of stuff!

Good quality materials but design requires improvement.
Found the centre rail flimsy and of poor design, the long side rails I feel should be one continuous length of timber, I feel the join at the centre of the side rails to be flimsy. With regard to the joint at the side rails which are supported by an upright , I constantly hit my toe at this upright causing bruising hence my comment that I believe one long continuous length of timber would eliminate this problem and with no joint at the centre of the side rails would make the frame more sturdy. With the exception of the centre rail and the joining of the side rails, I find the timber and frame to be of good quality material.

Sturdy, great value- use a rechargeable screwdriver!
I bought this a while ago and have since moved house and had to dismantle and reassemble it. It is still as sturdy as when I bought it. The first assembly was a bit long as I had to assemble the whole thing - the second time was easy as I didn't have to take the whole thing completely to bits to move it. Also, I had a rechargeable screwdriver the second time, which is essential for doing all the slats and adding the legs -and your sanity (the instructions do say this!).
