It's a beast!
Much more powerful than I actually needed for my garden, but the specs and price was right. It's actually 3 times the power of the pump that runs my house. I'm considering swapping them out and using this one in my house. I had to call their customer service a couple of times. They responded quickly and completely. They did confirm that it is a 24 month warranty, not the 18 written on the box. I kept a copy of their text in case I need it down the line. I did have to make a couple of trips to the HD to get the fittings I needed for my application. I replaced the plastic fittings that came with the pump with brass ones. I didn't understand the instructions that said you have to have a check valve on the intake and on the output. I have one on the input line and installed a small gate valve on the output instead of a check valve. Good product so far. Puts out a firehose amount of water. They told me to use 1" input line even though the input fitting is 3/4" hose connector. No biggie. I will.

It's a good worker!
I installed this Bomgie 1.5HP Shallow Well Pump to draw water out of a pond and supply it as running water to the old camp house. It works like a charm! It was easy to install, once I had all of the adapters in hand. I did have to take the plumbing apart once to add more teflon tape at the water connection points on the pump due to leakage, so be sure to pile that on when you do your installation. Priming is easy and the pump easily "caught on" to the lake water once I properly filled the line down to the pond. (Of course, I have a foot valve at the pond end of the pipe to keep the line filled between uses.) The suit is fully self-contained (i.e., it comes with an automatic pressure switch, a pressure gauge, and a proper power cord) so installing it is only a plumbing project, and a fairly easy one at that. I installed that under the house rather than down at the pond (as some people would do) and the unit had no difficulty pulling the water the roughly 75 feet horizontal distance (and 10 feet elevation increase) to the house.

Respectible light duty pump - You'll get your money's worth.
It's a decent little pump. I do wish the stand on it was designed a little differently. It tends to tip towards the back of the pump with minimum pressure. I think the stand could be redesigned to increase the stability. Other than that, I've used it day in and day out for months and I haven't had any difficulty with it aside from it wanting to tip backwards. I could mount it on a piece of plywood if I wanted to take the time.

Can't find contact info for customer service
Bought this about 15 months ago.Came quickly and with no damage.Really liked the quality;it looked and felt well-made.Set up easily, and drew water almost immediately.Supplied water to my fiber studio's kitchen sink and small bath. This week the pressure tank failed. Unit would not pull water from surface point well.Replaced the tank by buying a stand alone tank and disconnecting/connecting the woven steel hose from the pump. Primed it and waters running again.Expected to get 5ish years on the tank. Real disappointment that I had to spend almost the original purchase price to fix this.REALLY disappointed in the customer service-meaning I cannot find any way to contact customer service-NO PHONE NUMBER, NO EMAIL, NO WEBSITE, NO ADDRESSWho runs this company-where are they?

Broke with less than 2 months.
I spent $2,800 to have a professional plumber come in and do some work. While he was here I had him cut up some pipes and resolder everything to install this pump. Worked great for the first few weeks and then I noticed it just was running and running and running so I turned it off. Now I try turning it back on and I realize this pump has been leaking even though it was professionally installed with professional fittings and the pump is locked up.I can't put in for a refund or anything because I have to have a professional plumber come back up here to cut the copper pipes and order to get this pump out of here.I'm very frustrated because I'm out a lot of money and I'm not out just the pump. I would highly recommend anybody looking to put a pump to boost their water pressure just go ahead and spend the $800 or $1,000 because if I would have went that particular route it would have been so much cheaper than what I'm dealing with now. Not only do I have to buy a good pump now but I have to hire the plumbers to come out here which is about 25 mi out of town to replumb a good pump in this house and I'm just going to have to throw this away because I don't believe that it's under a replacement warranty anymore.I wish I would have taken more of the negative reviews more seriously before I bought this pump.

Had one two years ago
But didn’t install its replacement until summer of 2024. Quite a performer for my needs—a watering system for a seedling house we use it to propagate vegetable and herb seeds. Plus, I put an outside spigot on the seedling house for cleaning farm equipment and personal vehicles. I am only lifting water about 6 feet from a cistern below the seeding house—but there’s plenty of pressure for cleaning equipment and for use with a power washer. The first one I ordered arrived with damage to the hose between the pump and tank—Amazon and the manufacturer took it back (no problems). I waited a season or so before ordering the replacement—and I’m happy with the overall quality and durability.

Working!
This is the third pump we’ve had to purchase since moving to this house in 2021. First one burned out; second one froze then leaked and stopped working; we needed to move both the location and electrical to bring this unit into a more consistent temperature position within the crawl space and it’s been working great! We live on a steep hill and water needed to be pumped up to the house. The builder put this pump originally into an uninsulated space under the porch, crazy.
